    I guess I could keep one for you if you want. I personally don’t like trout. I like all kinds of fish and seafood just not a fan of trout. You’ll have to deal with the CnR trout fanatics after I post pics of the fillet though 😂. Oh the horror!

    Launched at 7 AM done at 8. Had to get back to the condo, pack and drive home. Made my run then caught this one after about 20 minutes of fishing. I cleared the scale of the weight of the net so that’s the legit weight. I need to explain that these fish are only out of the water a total of 30-40 seconds. Once to weigh them in the net over the water. Let rest a few minutes in the net while I check them out and get a good look at them. Then once more for a quick photo on the board. The new board 25” and with tail unfurled this one was right at 25”s.

    I fish the main lake not far from there relatively. What everyone else said. Ned, jig, crank, swim bait and a jerker too.

    Launched in the dark this morning. About 20 minutes in I caught this one. Right ant 22”s if the tail was uncurled. Net weighs about a pound, so close to 6 pounds. About a half hour later I hooked one even bigger. It came up twice head thrashing like a tarpon. Chased it with the trolling motor for about 10 minutes. Then…. Nothing, nada, squadouche, silence😆. Oh well. The first two jumps were awesome.

    I got down here today and didn’t get out till 10:30. I caught 10 fish in 2 hours. One 16” largemouth and the rest 14” or so spots and largemouth. No smallies. It was really windy when I quit. Enough so I just gave up. Even though I caught a decent amount of fish I struggled with hang ups. My hound dog got a workout!! I lost count of how many times I was snagged. And always right where I thought the juice was going to be. I 3 really nice fish on that simply pulled out. All on the crank. One of those days I guess. This one the jig and Ned.

    We got some much needed rain so I went fishing at lunch. 10:30 to 1:30. Water temp was 51. Beautiful 65 degrees when I was done. Caught all but 1 on the crank in the pictures. The 1 was on the tackle max fugitive. Honestly, I couldn’t put the crank down to try anything else. Never tried the jig or Ned. Probably should have but I love that cranks bite. Daughter bought me a new board. 1st dark line is 15” and second one is 20”.

    If you watch closely, the piling and piers stay upright. The bridge deck and super structure simply collapse.
