  1. Like that “windy” trail in your recent post where you only made it halfway to the lake? 😂. Not even new REI hiking sticks could get you there. Nice picture of the wrong lake though😆
  2. Killer peaches! I had some killer peaches from Eckert’s Farm last year 😂
  3. You have couth and suave 😂
  4. Thx! I’m headed out again and did it in 5 minutes. Wedged the side and pounded an ax into the slot. Worked like a charm! It isn’t perfect but it’s good enough for gubment work👍
  5. Ok. I’ll stop posting. But I won’t stop going😁
  6. Yep. They swap out the lower unit with a jet pump. It runs on plane in about 3”. Drifts about 5”. Best fishing item I have ever bought. It’s been great. I bought it because the closest river fishing to my house needed a jet boat. I used to drive 2-4 hours to trout fish but wanted something closer to home. Now I prefer smallie fishing over trout. Even though I’ve fly fished for trout my whole life. 62 years old now. The added fun of running a shallow river in jet boat only adds to it. And I use it at Taneycomo and The White to trout fish.
  7. Mine is a 90 hp outboard. That grate is at the bottom and squats it out the nozzle in the back.
  8. That’s what I gleaned from it. 😆
  9. It didn’t affect the performance so I just waited till I got home to mess with it. I’ve actually banged mine around quite a bit and that’s the first real “damage”. If you can even call it that. I think most of what I’ve hit catches the rear edge of the foot while missing the grates. Fun AF to run around in light weight Jon with a 90 jet though😁
  10. I throw trash and old line or plastics in one of the live wells that’s never had water in them. Dry storage essentially.
  11. I think I bought it at Bullseye tackle. I’m driving over there this week. Couldn’t sleep last night over it😆
  12. No kidding. I went through a phase where I drove every chance I got to pattern stripers and hybrids. Never could and between the gas money and heartache I quit. They either are biting or they’re not. Thx for the report though. 👍
  13. What do you use to bend them? They are tough little beggars.
  14. I thought I had tied it on after I put the trailer on it. What’s DJT?
  15. 7”. I got that😆
  16. Has anyone else done this? I have a small, quarter ounce I think, spinner bait that’s “my lucky” bait. I don’t know what is, but that thing flat catches them. I don’t remember where I got it or the exact particulars about the skirt color. Blue, white and chartreuse I think. 2 small Colorado blades. I was on the river yesterday and never really could dial them in and I thought I would try that little spinner bait. So I pull it out and put a twin tail trailer on it get it all set to go and I throw it overboard like I do when I tie on a new lure. I pick up my rod and realized I did not tie it to the line and my favorite spinner bait went to the bottom.😂.
  17. Here’s what I thought. Ask around, YouTube, try it the best I can. Or option B. Ask @fishinwrench, get the quick down and dirty but get humiliated on a public forum. 😂
  18. What did you use to get the whole pin out? Did you pull it out from the other end once you got it started with the nail?
  19. I haven’t sifted my gravel so the impeller is fine. It’s amazing how shallow it runs when I’m by myself.
  20. I said I “adjusted” it😂
