2 guys came rolling in our cove about 10 am yesterday both throwing buzzers or whoppers. Couldn’t tell from a distance. I thought they’ll never catch anything. They caught 3 in 10 minutes and one of them was a nice one. Do nothing gravel bank without any cover. All 3 came within a few feet of the bank. 🤷♂️
On the water at 6:30. Crowds are finally gone. Good riddance! Caught several small ones on the buzzer early then threw the jig and crank till 11:30. Lost count of how many I caught. Lots! Most under 15” but a few keeps. Crank was best.
Had one swim to the boat with the crank and I thought it was another small one. Nope! She realized she was hooked and literally ran into the side of the boat. Came up mouth open and the crank popped out. Real nice one! Water was warm as a bath.
Saw a Cottonmouth too!
We don’t go out to eat as often as we used too. Birthdays, anniversary and special occasions is all anymore. Now that I think about it, that started with Covid and we just never rebounded I guess. Love Cunettos!
