I stayed in marathon Florida, February 1 through the 10th and the weather was spectacular. 75 at night and 84 during the day. I did not book a guided trip. I’ve done dozens of saltwater trips and honestly they have gotten to a price I’m just not willing to pay. 🤷‍♂️. I hit several state park beaches and caught lady fish and finally a lifer jack cravelle! About 15” and it’s crazy how hard they fight. All my kids and even my wife had caught one before but not me. Bahia Honda has a nice flat and that’s where I had the best luck. The Fugitive swim bait got absolutely tore apart but very few would get hooked. Switched to an old twin prop bang o lure in chrome and they destroyed that too. No pictures as I was wading far out on the flat. Literally hundreds of yards. Sorry @Johnsfolly And of course we hit all the tourist stops from key Largo to Key West. I can’t recommend it enough if you get the chance.

We just got home after 10 days in the keys and still a little left of the giant pile from the plow. Ugh, is all I can say.

We thought he was horrible. Nobody liked any of the entertainment actually. And the commercials weren’t great either.

There’s a couple guys on YouTube that have videos showing the same thing. They rush right over to anything making noise.

I put the smackdown on a bunch or starlings over the weekend. Does that count? We didn't eat them though...😆

I don’t care either way but it’s crazy how much talk there is about the zebras and the “script”. It keeps popping into my feeds and I don’t even watch it. Call em both ways, Zebra! Spit up the whistle, zebra! 😆

It was cool when driving around Wisconsin and see them in people’s yard. My wife thought they were decorative plastic cranes 😆

I used to sleep in my Yukon on trips to Taney and The White all the time. Air mattress and a coffee maker. I really enjoyed it.

You could probably turn the head around and put it on the bow. That’s what I did.

I’ve had a pond prowler for decades. It’s great! 50 pound trolling motor on the front. Nice seats with backrests. I’ve caught hundreds if not thousands of fish in it. Great for urban electric only lakes. 8’er fits in the bed of my ram.

Next Saturday.
