Missouri made its choice. It decided to be a middle road football team in a different elite football conference so it could make more money in basketball. Unfortunately, they decided to do this in a year that they were not at their football best. Ugly, nasty people would say things like, "Sucks, don't it?" I hope their basketball revenue plan pays off. Go Big 12.

There are many answers. None are perfect. One, call the press and humiliate him for being risky and stupid. Two, call the ATF and report him for suspected firearms violations. Three, bypass the police and talk to the district attorney. Four, contact an attorney about sending a certified mail cease and desist letter. All these have draw backs. None of these are friendly. However, the key is that you cannot let him continue to shoot up your place. The risk to family is too great.

Not a stellar year for the hogs. Frank was probably as good as Bud or Darryl, but he didn't have the recruits. I hated Lou - whinny excuse maker - but at least his teams could play.

My mother's setter used to hunt the buggers. When we walked out to feed, she would have the carcasses lined up. Don't know what she did with the heads.

Nancy and I always stay at Gaston's and set up a slip rental at Bull Shoals Dock by the dam. While their advertising - "It costs no more to go first class." - may not be true, we have always enjoyed the stay.

Stockers need to go back in the water. Period. No argument. Buy Tilapia instead. For pink or red meat trout, several choices exist. One is stuff the cavity with wild onion or chives and bake with a vodka, wine and lemon butter baste. Another is smoke with fruitwood. A third is part of a fish pie. DO NOT think trout is a headliner for diner service.
