Vern - while abstaining from the Nebraska vs. Kansas rhetoric about why you southerners make the decisions that you do - I can only surmise that since our brains are significantly larger we know where the fish SHOULD be and not where they are - I mean how many times have we pulled up to a place and thought "this looks fishy" and not in that NCIS way...... also if it were that easy places like BP would quickly go out of business as there would be no banjo minnow buying etc. C4F

Dave - Bill....since there are many comments / requests / questions regarding the Ned does it make sense to have a thread locked at the top of the page so that new or old folks can go there and find techniques etc. For example - Bills post on (my words) create a "Ned survival kit" were great!! - Just a thought! I marshaled with Murry one year....he is a pretty good stick....never understood why he doesn't do better. I really stunk it up as I totally forgot to put my picks in....and ab even sent out his friendly notice. I am such a dumb butt at times. Getting ready - watching the reports on all of the tourneys - right now I have 32.7 rods tied on with what everyone has been catching them on! I have figured out a way to connect key words relating to new baits directly to my TW account - as soon as the interweb sees the word a message is sent to TW and a new bait is on it's way via Amazon drone..... (this is a fishing lie) Didn't wash it but I did iron the Jersey - BTW wasn't that a Jersey incognito that abkeenan was wearing while holding that fish up? Looks like about 20 going to show.....fun C4F

Do Rangers go 70?! O wait wrong forum.....have you checked the air pressure to make sure they were all the same? I noticed a vibration on my trailer and adjusted tire pressure all around and it went away. Not sure about the intermediate issue though

Nice report ab and a darn nice fish....I had a similar Nu tech tied on but never threw it....got tied into a swim bait and the RK...way to much! I did talk to some guys that were catching them at the bridge piling down long creek way....not sure how they held thier boat position with all of the traffic. I agre It was a great event and a nice lunch!

Yeah like Mike said the 6lber would get you in the big benjamin catagory for sure.....then you would have had to pay taxes on the winnings etc. Not to mention paying your accountant to figure all of this out Like Alex...couldn't find the 3+ to get in the money....and I even tried all of the tips that my internet friends here on OA were implying...I am a little slow so maybe next time some one could put out a sign on the water saying "fish here" Heck I was about to position myself off a point with a sign "will work for a good spot suggestion!" But I did have a great time and I met a great guy and his son that makes his own swim baits and he gave me some to try...just some great folks. O and I did get some trout fishing in the evenings.....BONUS!!!! C4F
