Who are you people that have to go pickup bologna? Is it not a staple at your house? I've had bologna sandwiches three times this week. Good bread, mayo with cheese, the only question I ever have to answer is what kind of chips should I put on it? I can't eat any other kind of lunch meat. Everything else makes me want to vomit. Unless I get it takeout. Wow, I have issues.

There is a stream close by that is really in the Ozarks. And I get the same kind of results. Should be full of smallmouth, or any bass, but it isn't. It does have some of those agressive catfish though.

Too bad that the littlest ones are the most fun. But you can't be posting pictures of those on the internet. What would your friends think.

I wasn’t. But I get all that. I regularly carry both and don’t fish a fly rod as much. But I don’t try very hard anymore. I grew up tournament fishing and I’m content just relaxing now. I’ll catch some how I want to fish on that day, or I won’t. Offer still stands.

Finally finished one of the yellow ones. First time using that much UV resin to coat a body and I don't think I will do that again. Of course now I have effed up my arm and will not attempt to cast this.

I was thinking about this again over the weekend. One difference might be in the knots. I'm not using a loop knot ever, and you use them all the time. Could the loop knot give it more freedow to get things moving? Yes I don't use a tapered leader, but I have in the past and it's never been a problem.

Exactly. If I’m going to give an insurance company my money, I’m going to make sure I use the benefit. I can go to the doctor and get checked twice a year for no additional expense. I can also go to the dentist twice a year to get my teeth cleaned for no additional expense. The ignorant tough guy mentality has run rampant in the USA. It’s really getting old.

My dad and I ran into a couple buddies while fishing Stockton. One was re-tieing. He had just lost a “monster” on a worm. It broke him off. We were just chatting and I tossed a crank bait up on the point and hooked a decent fish. Got it to the boat and it had his worm still hooked in its mouth. The “monster!” was about 4 pounds.

Yeah those pickleball guys are almost as bad as the badminton pussies.

They are all getting outrageous. Some are canceling their tours because they can’t sell tickets. And at these prices I don’t think it’s going to be get any better soon. Saw Metallica, in their prime, with my wife in 1991. Tickets were $100 total for two tickets. Saw U2 at a huge concert in old Busch Stadium in 1992. That ticket was $60 and were 7 rows from the stage. Was going to take my youngest daughter to see Green Day this summer but it’s at least a $1,000 for two tickets. But everything is expensive. Spent $1500 to watch one of the Chiefs losses last season. That was for 4 people. Over $400 of that was in ticketing fees. It’s just stupid anymore. We are greed screwing each other in the USA.

Still the best squirrel deterrent there has ever been. They don’t even try for the bird feeders anymore. The new group of young ones learned that across the top of the privacy fence is no safer than being on the ground. Stay in the trees at least 8 foot up. And don’t slip. It’s a game to her and she’s really good at it.
