  1. I didn't mean it was fine to do, what I meant was I think you can be FINED for doing that. I don't care how many runts there are. I just can't support that.
  2. The internet isn't doing anything. It's just sitting there waiting to be useful. Society is the one that is screwing it up.
  3. Totally agree.
  4. No I don't what??
  5. I think that tossing them up on the bank is a fine. No different than a gigger sticking a smallmouth at that point.
  6. When your rod starts making a buzzing noise it's time to head for cover. That has happened more than once.
  7. That's not always a good thing.
  8. I like science and tests and results. Makes things interesting. However it does not compel me to switch from what I'm using. Years of independent study in my mind is how I choose what works for me.
  9. Not me. I rarely listen to anything old. There's great new music out there if you search for it. You won't hear much of it on the radio though.
  10. One caught on a flyrod too! I think I'll just stick with the app.
  11. It's only damaging to you and your family if you allow it. I've had the kid with the Minecraft addiction. Me and her spent a lot of hours building together. That's all it takes. Spend time doing with them what they want to do. My youngest has had all of this technology from the beginning. But it hasn't destroyed her or made her a zombie. It just takes a parent that cares enough to enjoy what they enjoy. She's not much of a fisherman, which is heartbreaking. But we have been having a good time with her recent passion. She received a record player for her 13th birthday, Now we hit the music stores in search of LP's. Then she posts her finds to Instagram!!
  12. I was hanging out in the garage with the dog last night when it hit Springfield. It was coming down hard but the ground was soaking it up fast. It wasn't running down the side of the street like it normally does.
  13. We do need a bit of water. Last year when I had a decent day it was around 200 cfs. Today it's at 50 cfs and continues to drop. Either way I'll probably give it a go this weekend.
  14. Every fish is picture worthy.
  15. Well that repair doesn't look any better than what it did. What a jacked up mess that was to begin with. I haven't seen the layers separate that bad before. All I'm saying is there are products out there that make it pretty simple. Are they expensive? Depends on what you call expensive, I personally think 1,800 for a canoe is nuts. Plus you always have plastic welding. It's not hard either. People have been repairing plastics for a long time and most of those applications are much more critical than a boat.
  16. Actually the poly canoes are really simple to repair if you know what you are doing. It's basic plastic repair, not rocket science.
  17. Ain't that the truth. I colored one up a couple of weeks ago that looked great in my hand but was a totally different color in the water. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't what I was expecting. Good looking stuff as usual.
  18. Here's a chart that will help. https://www.cityutilities.net/wp-content/uploads/community-parkslakes.pdf 6 horsepower limit but there isn't a ramp to use currently. Supposed to replace it when the bridge work on 65 is completed.
  19. Not enough to bump the gauge. We are going to need more than that.
  20. House down the street had a beautiful looking magnolia in the yard last week. Big bright blooms. Now it just has brown disgusting remnants hanging from it.
  21. About 4 miles.
  22. Difficult??? I question your credentials.
