Yep. Hell of a drive to get some worms! I'm working in St. Peters so I drove over tonight to check it out. My absolute favorite bait is a floating worm. Those Shark Fins might be perfect for that. Going to be a couple of months for prime floating worm time but I will give them a good shot. Maybe you can get us some pink ones by then. Or maybe I take a sharpie to one of these white ones? Great looking baits though, and a really good price. You might be underpriced.

Depends on the fly. Maybe even the fish. The flies I just sent you have a craft fur tail because of a specific fish. One fat largemouth bass that lives in a little spot on the James river. I did that because I felt the regular version of that fly was too stiff among other issues. It was tied with deer hair. But I didn't want something as limp as marabou. Actually that whole fly, color and all, was created because of that one fish.

Do the Shark Tail worms come in pink? Maybe like the second one from the bottom with a pink back instead of white?

Craft fur is not as limp as marabou, but not as stiff as deer hair. They are very different to me.

So I took a little drive to see another parade. They appeared to be having a good time.

They are in the river from Wilson’s Creek to Galena year round. I’m not sure on numbers but they don’t have a problem with the water. I never target them but catch a few and see way more. There are some good ones up there too. I don’t know what would change one you get to the lake.

I went a totally different direction.

The ones I have done have been on a thick hard mono. I always felt you wanted something stiff but still flexible.

Use the garlic one so you smell good too.

I think Fox sports did a horrible job with the broadcast. Terry Bradshaw just needs to go away. He was a great player but he's horrible at his current position. Th call was holding because it was a hold. The ONLY reason people are so upset about it is because they feel it determined the outcome of the game. It did not. If Eagles fans want a play to complain about they should be on their QB for dropping the ball and letting it get picked and ran in for a touchdown. That was what determined the outcome of the game. The Eagles player said it was holding, the Eagles coach said it was holding. But you get an uncapable sportscaster call it questionable and the fans have already heard all they need to. I'm sick of the crybabies' in America. It's getting old and ruining everything. If your team or person doesn't win then the refs and everyone lese in the world were out to get you and you must react by destroying the people that one. It's the new American way. It's childish and stupid but there's not much you can do about it when the "leaders" of the country and the media that they are paying for act the same way.

People do not OD on weed. It’s hilarious that people get all upset about someone smoking pot but you can go into in convenience store and buy as much alcohol as you want. If anyone was really concerned with anyone’s safety they would put an end to that.

I drove to Ft. Smith on Monday and had to come back to Springfield yesterday afternoon. I appreciate the job that MoDot does on the roads. The drive from Ft. Smith to the Missouri line was not fun.

I’m not so curious as to why they are classified, but why we can’t control them. Isn’t there someone in charge of protecting them? There’s a grade school librarian in every city doing a better job than these morons.

Little dogs don't like to get their parts cold. Our weenie dog hates the snow, but she pretty much hates everything. The last snow we got I went to let the big dog out to potty. I opened the back door and she saw the snow on the deck. Then she starts backing up. I thought this is great, now this genius won't go out either. But she was just getting some distance. Then she takes off running as hard as she could, out the door, across the deck, and right at the end of the deck she let it fly. She made it a long ways before she crashed into the snow. She loves it. And that dog can fly. She could be a champion dock jumper if she had someone to train her.
