The problem has absolutely nothing with the people of this forum. The problem with these issues is enforcement. You can make all the signs you want, in all the languages you want, but without someone enforcing the laws it doesn't matter. It's just wasted chatter. And coming here looking for everyone to jump on your bandwagon is preaching to the choir. If you can't get the agents to write the tickets you will never fix anything. And in reality it's not fixing anything, it's just moving that poacher to someone else's backyard.

There are always a bunch of sharks around. They don't like people much so they stay a little further out, but when the people aren't around they like to feed up close. I chased some baby hammerheads for an entire week down there one time. My wife was the first to spot them. There were 3 in that group and they were just swimming amongst all the kids. I sure would have liked to land one of them on a flyrod but they didn't want to play.

I've caught hundreds of those little jacks. Usually when they are around it’s all I can catch.

With the way I drove a boat I always had that thing on and a PFD. I'm sure it probably saved me a few times. I never got tossed out but there were a few times it was close.

My wife works for a surgeon and they get the whiners looking for pills quite a bit. But the surgeon only prescribes certain things after surgery and if you need something more after that then you have to come in for another visit. That usually ends it right there. The surgeon owns her own practice though and gets to call her own shots. She doesn't have a corporate entity, that typically doesn't have a clue, to control her. She hasn't been sued. Outside of all of this, it's just harder to do business with people these days. Everyone feels that their needs are the most important thing in the world. I had a customer last week get upset that the items he ordered were not available when he was ready for them. It didn't matter that he was told when he placed the order he was told that it would take 3 to 4 days. So when he shows up the next day and it's not ready then his ignorant reasoning is that somebody needs their butt kicked. He's wrong and he still wants to fight somebody in the store. What does fighting prove? That you are an idiot. Next time someone tries to make America great again can we make it smarter too?

The ones around don't seem to. They just find good spots to hide when they don't want to be seen. Maybe these SW MO fish just aren't smart enough to know there is better water downstream.

Well they helped me with physical therapy. I don’t do pain pills. I’d rather be in pain that turn into the person that pain pills creates. I can guarantee you that I will never be addicted to pain pills.

Sounds like a cool gun. I could stand in the yard and shoot clays all day. Used a Remington 870 20 ga. in high school. Now when I get the chance it’s a Browning Citori 20 ga. from the late 70’s. I love shotguns but don’t care for hunting anymore.

The best option I have seen is the shuttle shuttle. I ran across some guys at a gas station a year or so ago on I44. I was getting gas and they pull in reminding me of my buddies and I when we were much younger and bulletproof. There were four of them and they we all in one SUV pulling a trailer that had the most beat up piece of crap car I have ever seen. It had no windows in it and no interior. If you looked inside there was a milk crate and a motorcycle helmet. I couldn't help myself so I asked these guys what was up with the car. They said: "oh that's the shuttle shuttle". So depending on which access is the most sketchy they will leave the shuttle shuttle there. Preferably they drop the shuttle shuttle off at the end and whoever sucks the most on the trip has to drive it up the starting access to get the truck. They were making particular fun of one guy because he had lost one weekend and had to take the shuttle shuttle back to the truck. They said that for whatever reason he couldn't get the shuttle shuttle back on the trailer. Once they got everything loaded on the truck they decided to leave the shuttle shuttle where it was for the time and return for it later since they would have to backtrack to get it. They said they ended up forgetting about it for like a month but when they went back it was still there. Nobody had touched it. And they said if they ever lose it or somebody hauls it off, then they can probably find another $300 shuttle shuttle to replace it. Those guys are having a good time.
