Secret spots huh? Do they have to be good secret spots or just a secret spot that sucks? Because I have a whole bunch of them I can share with you. But I feel like your question implies that you want it to be a good spot. A really good spot. So if I knowingly gave you a bad spot I'm afraid that I would be liable for you being able to catch a fish. Heck even if I gave you one of my secret really good spots then how can I know that you can actually catch a fish there? Are there any guarantees from you? Again I might be able to be held liable for that information even though it would be your own failing because you can't fish or the fish just aren't biting the day that you go. I'll have to consult an attorney before I feel comfortable giving any information.

I hardly ever get a chance to listen to it but I understand what you are saying. I wish they talked more to local "experts". The pros are neat but there are a lot of local guys out there catching quality fish.

Yep you have to make sure you are extra careful because March 1st they will be atrached to a stringer and drug around all day like a trophy. If they still look decent after all that they will hit the frying pan.

Yes it is. It's bigger than the reel that I have on my 8. But it fishes well and balances well on the rod.

My 8 wt goes everywhere I go. It does not sit. I love it too much. Big streamers, bass, anything in the salt, it likes them all. A budget friendly reel? I just purchased a Redington Behemoth. Put one on my 5wt and it's a bit overkill on that, but it's a good big fish reel. $109 up to 7/8 or $129 for anything bigger.

Supposedly they will replace the ramp by 65 after they are done with the bridge work. Wouldn't be surprised if they "forget" though.
