Way to go guys! Hearing some good reports from the area I fish too. Once this weather gets back to a place that my delicate constitution can handle, I am going to give them a shot.

YouTube had removed several versions of the videos by Thursday morning for violating its community guidelines. “We quickly remove flagged content that violates our Community Guidelines, including content that includes medically unsubstantiated diagnostic advice for COVID-19,” a YouTube spokesperson said in a statement to NBC News.

That's why I still have my 8 year old Humminbirds. I keep waiting for them to finish with rolling out the new technology because I'm afraid if I buy something now, it will be obsolete in 6 months. 😃

2/3 of the water in that lake comes from Arkansas, you Missor-ites should be thankful we let you fish there. 😃

That would be challenging, to get one to bite on the fly, but today was a day when I bet you could've.

I only harvest the stuff that the buzzards are pecking on - you know then that it has properly aged.

Called my buddy Ken yesterday after I got home and we decided to get out early and see if we could find the stripers again today. I always worry when I run into some fish and invite someone to go that we'll get there and won't be able to find them, but they were in the same spots today that they were in yesterday. We had some really good top water action early, from daylight until about 8 or 8:30. We boated eight stripers, and had a couple others to the boat that got off. Shad appear to be spawning, the stripers herd them up near the bank and go to work on them, they don't stay up long so you have to get on them when they do come up. When they get going on those shad, they lose their minds and will just destroy a top water. I was using an Evergreen SB 125, and Ken was tossing a spook, but I believe any walking type bait will catch them, the key is being there when they blow up. No really big ones, our fish were in the 4 - 10 lb. range. Ken kept several for the frying pan.

From the videos I've seen of the production lines, the workers are masked up, wearing some kind of coverall outer garment along with gloves. I'd speculate that wherever they are picking up the virus it is not in the plant unless it is in a dressing room or some place where people are gathered together.

Got to the Indian Creek launch about 0545, there was one boat there already getting ready to launch. Couple of guys that are always there when there are stripers on that end of the lake, when I saw them, I thought it could be on. Started fishing not too far from the launch and the stripers were feeding on top, not crazy schooling activity, but mainly isolated blow ups. Caught 3, not big by striper standards, but 4-5 lb fish. Had a couple of big ones take a swipe at my pencil popper but never made a hookup on a bigger fish. Only lasted about an hour, then they pretty much shut down, except for one last striper that blew up on the deep side of the boat when I was working the bank for smallmouth - he took 3 swings at the bait, and on the last swing he touched it, but didn't get hooked. Smallmouth fishing was tough, caught 7 and one spotted bass, biggest smallie was 17". Threw 3.3 Keitech on a 1/4 oz head for the smallies. Forgot to bring my camera, couple of cell photos.

Man if I saw someone shaking as they advanced towards me needle in hand, I'd be outta there. Got mine at Mercy in Rodgers, first one wasn't bad, but the second one was a little sore and I felt a little off that day. Sure beats getting the shingles though, that stuff is nasty. I get the annual flu shot, insurance covers it, it's painless, don't see any reason to not get it.

I'm not worried too much about myself either, but I am concerned about others in my life. And I am certainly more careful.

Those pills can make a man feel mellow. However the messing up of the digestive process made me get off those things as soon as I could.

I haven't had frog legs in a long time. NW Arkansas is just not a good environment for bullfrogs.

That dog is living well. Love the springtime greenery!

Harvested the first one today, probably could've let it grow for another day or two, but I have a dozen plants so I need to do some eating. going to stir fry it in butter.

Yeah I don't know myself, not something I can verify in my lab. 😀 I wouldn't say that they don't know jack squat about it either. I'd say "we" don't know jack squat, but there are people who are knowledgeable.

Dang goggle eye, I have yet to catch one on Table Rock. I'm assuming they are good to eat?
