  1. Mizzou has some tough games ahead - At OK and at Vandy, a couple of bubble teams that are fighting for a chance to play in the NCAA's.
  2. Chased the spiders out of the boat, I plan on doing some fishing this week.
  3. Big win for AR for sure. I got 26 fouls for Mizz, 18 for AR. At 6 minutes left in the game, the 2nd half fouls were equal. Mizzou being behind late led to them fouling, I did not see a big bias in the foul calling, but there was that one late in the game that Ivisic drew that was definitely a bad call at a crucial time. AR had a big advantage on points from turnovers and points from fast breaks. Thiero going out with a hammy is concerning going forward.
  4. 26 degrees right now. Heat wave!

  6. Great game, but I am disappointed that the US lost.
  7. 12 here. Sun is shining.
  8. I've watched a couple of their games, they might be in line for a three or a two seed in the NCAA's if they finish strong. AR played Auburn tough last night. If they could shoot three's and make free throws they'd have a lot better record. Should be a good game Saturday. AR needs to win if they want to be in the NCAA's.
  9. See if we can get Milo to comment: @Ryan Miloshewski One thing I learned a few weeks ago is that 2 lb. test with a 1/16th oz jig will get more bites than 8lb.test with a 1/8 oz jig in the trophy area. Down below Lilley's we found a bunch of fresh stockers and they did not care. We were told black was the hot color, but sculpin or ginger as some call it, worked best. The steep rocky banks were better for jerkbaits, the shallower riffly stuff was better for jigs.
  10. looking at the AR HWY cameras and I-49 looks to be clear and dry. They ran a blade down the road by my house last night and exposed some of the blacktop to the sun today and it has melted off quite a bit of the snow. Shady spots are still going to be icy, but things are improving.
  11. For sure, heck it's almost March.
  12. Now showing -2, but looks like I won't be able to catch Marty.
  13. For a temp right now, can you beat it?
  14. Watched the 5 PM local news weather forecast, the guy doing the forecast said we were going to get a lot more snow last night, possibly another 6 inches. HA! It stopped snowing about 7 PM.
  15. I'll settle for some local warming. It is all of 2 degrees out there right now.
  16. It's stopped here, but the radar is showing that it's snowing. Might have 6-8 inches total. However it is cold, 10 degrees. And it's a light snow, pretty easy to push off with the snow shovel.
  17. Might be 2 inches here, steady light snow right now. Went for a walk, wind out of the north, it's getting a bit cold.
  18. Less than 2 days before the tourney starts. I'll probably be snowed in for a few days, so I'll be watching the live coverage.
  19. Just a little dusting so far. Last night, the guesser said around noon is when the heavy stuff will hit.
  20. Nice looking flies Ryan. The bass fisherman in me bets those would work on a Carolina rig for the lake smallies. Plain black, brown/orange, or green pumpkin orange.
  21. They are pre-treating the highways around here. I don't know if that stuff does any good or not.
  22. I can't wait for next week. I hope the weather guessers are wrong, but if not, this is going to be one nasty storm.
  23. James river arm of Table Rock is choked with those things in the summer.
  24. Anyone watching? Great game last night USA vs Canada.
