  1. I hope Dtrs doesn't talk as much as Lefebre, they couldn't get him off the stage. Jordan Lee for the win, I sure didn't see that coming, but congrats to him.
  2. Hope all goes well in your recovery!
  3. Very nice smallie!
  4. We covered a lot of water today, didn't fish it all, but we saw a lot. Water was stained everywhere, with it being a light brown color further up the White at Stubblefield. I fished with RPS in his boat today. Lots of wood debris in the water from the rising water also. Lots of boats too. Fishing was on the slow side, we boated about 30 bass and one short walleye, all on the Ned. I think we had 2 keepers. Rps got big fish honors with one about 3 lbs. Fish were mostly right on the bank with a few out deeper. Water temps ranged from 54 to 58.
  5. Thanks for the report. It is tough to get a good sized bass out of that lake.
  6. There are some guys struggling for sure. KVD is making a run.
  7. For sure give Bill a call, and if he Is booked he can probably find someone for you.
  8. As a precedent, Danny Manning's father was hired as an assistant at KU the year before his son came there to play. This practice seems a trifle shady to me, but appears to be within the rules. At least Calipari didn't get his mitts on Porter.
  9. Cool, congrats to the Mizzou BB program. Of course I hope the Hogs beat the stuffing out of Mizzou next year, but in spite of that, it is good to see some talent going to the SEC. I would be perfectly happy to see 6 SEC teams in the top 25 every year.
  10. I am about done with "pick a guy that has done well on the lake before" strategy. it's still early, and the weather is killing the offshore guys today, but it is tough to make up ground if a guy falls to far behind.
  11. Nice one!
  12. Glad to hear ya'll got into them!
  13. We want a review once you have been out on the water. And no comments from the peanut gallery (you know who I'm talking about ).
  14. This: (However it costs $500!)
  15. Myself and Muddy were out there this morning also, we went out of Big M. Fishing was a bit slow for us also, I am also blaming it on the cold morning. We caught a few nice largemouth to start and Muddy got a fat keeper sized spot, I think we got 4 or 5 that went between 2-3 lbs. One it got later in the AM, we caught some fish, but smaller, in the 12 inch range. We never found a bunch of them, just one here and there. All Ned fish except one caught on a c-rig. Also noted that the water temp was 54 to start, saw 56 when we left around 1230.
  16. Looks to be very windy with possibility for T-storms Friday. Could make it interesting.
  17. Yeah I fish 6# Invisx all winter on my Ned setup, it's been fine. I do check for abrasions, nicks etc. and if I find them, I'll retie. Not going to try and sell people on it however because if it ain't working for someone they should try something else.
  18. Actually the Dave with the report is the "Other Dave from Kansas", the Other Dave you are referring to is just Dave. Just keeping things in order here. Nice fish Other Dave! Glad to see you got that young'un into them again!
  19. I have a Tatula and have not experienced any issues like yours. You might want to take a look at the T-wing deal to see if there is a burr on it or something that might be nicking your line, that InvisX gets nicked or kinked it can put a weak spot on it.
  20. Where's Vernon?
  21. Good point, they will keep your cheeks (the ones on your face) a tad warmer on a cold morning boat ride.
  22. Thanks for the info, DR's appt. for me today and a vet appt. for the dog tomorrow is keeping me off the water, sure would like to be out there.
  23. 12 volt. Just thought it was funny that the guy brought his own battery, but it makes perfect sense for someone that wants to look at a used TM.
  24. The sign that a thread has spiraled out of control, then blown up, with the debris sinking to the bottom of the lake, is when the golf talk starts.
  25. I sold a TM a few years ago, the buyer met me at a grocery store parking lot, he had a battery in the trunk of his car, TM ran fine off his battery and he bought it.
