It's raining here pretty good right now. Bella Vista is drained by Little Sugar which eventually sends that water to Grand lake, but what storms here usually moves NE towards the TR area. Looks like the Kings drainage is getting some now too.

The can't shoot, rebound or pass Arkansas team showed up last night and got whupped. Gotta give credit to UCONN too, they played well. All things considered, making it to the Sweet 16 was better than I thought they'd do.

I drove through there that Wednesday and I wondered why there were so many people fishing. Looking up stream from the bridge there was probably 8-10 people wading. In about a 50 yard stretch.

I have fished them only a bit, I think I remember catching a 12" spotted bass on one. Guess I should give it a try, but it is hard for me to put down the Keitechs for those deep fish. I have heard people say you can put those frog type 2 hook deals on them and that will reduce hangups. I got mine at Lureparts. Get some white Krylon spray paint to paint them if you want white ones.

Weather guy last night was calling for 2-4 inches in NWA.

The little bit that I read about it, there is some sort of genetic threshold or parameters that have to be met to qualify as a different species. I'm certainly not educated enough on the subject to make a call on it.

OK species dudes, you've got more work. According to my latest issue of Outdoor Oklahoma, there are now 3 different longear species. There are potentially 3 more. Going to be hard to get those blue cats under control. They are tasty, maybe some kind of all out commercial and recreational fishing effort with no limits might hammer the numbers down, but I doubt they'll ever get rid of them.

UConn has that guy Sanogo playing for them, reminds me of Kobe Brown from a physical standpoint, except he's an inch taller, but has that same linebacker physique. I don't think Sanogo has the outside shooting range that Brown has, but he is a beast inside. I'm thinking Arkansas is going to take the ball inside and try and get him in foul trouble.

Just saw some news about a couple of kayakers that are missing since Thursday. Somewhere around the Lost Bridge South area from what I could tell. They did find their kayaks and a shirt floating in the water, but no sign of the missing men. It is a father and son. Search continues for missing kayakers on Beaver Lake (4029tv.com)

Taking off the shirt and calling the Hogs was great! It is kind of goofy, but he had the fans worked up. Don't know if you guys saw the post game on court interview, but Coach Muss put his arm around Devo and told him he loved him like a son, it had Devo in tears. Don't forget Council IV, he was the one draining those end of game free throws. I'll be watching UCONN play St. Mary's today, I'm rooting for St. Mary's, I believe the Hogs can beat St. Mary's, maybe not UCONN. Gonzaga blew out St. Mary's in the WCC championship game, St. Mary's is over seeded at a 5 in my opinion.
