  1. That launch was for all those guys that have issues backing up a trailer. Helps sell more trailers.
  2. Ya, but he will never get past VP. He will probably forget what he was doing when the race picks back up anyway after Corona.
  3. I thought Pence was the VP? Who is planning on replacing him???
  4. Good thing that boat was there to get him out...... The trailer worked good as an anchor... Better video than the other day. Missed the part of why he had to back up again. Gotta love camera phones.
  5. Life as usual around here with the exception of no kids and constant rain. I still shop when I want, eat where I want, just take out or drive thru. Don't have to put up with bad servers. Day trips only as there are no places to stay but farm and house.
  6. Traffic cops are running speed traps like crazy around here. Since school is out, wrecks are almost nil, they don't have anything better to do. Body shops are shutting down, not enough work because all the bad, distracted drivers staying home. Brian's cottages are closed as are motels. I tried to get a trip in a few weeks ago with the wife. They said Mc Cormick lake was still open, but need 4wd to get thru potholes and post sentries to keep meth heads out of camp. Boat ramps open but river too high to do any good.
  7. Hard to back the trailer out back up that hill .
  8. I can remember the time when you did not have electric or running water and was posting on here. Those were the days. Nuclear fission kept the laptop running....
  9. Not really the way I have read it. But you need a little faith to go with it. He created Humans, they did the original sin. He sent his son to save us all, or at least the ones that believe. He gave us a choice, choose wisely..............
  10. You can grow the whacky weed in MO now, just need to apply and pay the fees.
  11. Where's Greybear and ole Carp hunter??
  12. Chemical attack requires a rain slicker and hip boots.
  13. Only the ones they toss in my food at the drive thru.. ya never really taste them.
  14. The boat came with a white one. Kept trying to get it to run, changed fuel pump, rebuilt carb. Got it to power up one time fully one time on Duck Creek. Took it to the boat shop locally and he delivered the verdict. One cylinder was full of water and cracked by overheating. Bought this one I have now from a buddy. Blue one like in the pic, but not as pretty. Runs like a champ.
  15. Not me, but got the itch from me and his dad. Fine day for them. His youngin is a fungus finding fool..
  16. I have one that runs. Its on the little 1436 I am gonna sell. Put a carb kit on it, water pump, and replaced the kill switch. Usually starts on the second pull. Sweet little simple motors, circa 1967.
  17. Now I have to stop picking my nose??? You are asking too much, I'm out. Severe violation of my civil liberties when I have to stop picking my nose...
  18. Calling too much will shut some up and fire up others. Go out and take a nap after making a few calls. They will be pecking at your toes when you wake up just to mess with you.
  19. That could be him waving at his wife....
  20. That was me in my buddies Dad's Ranger about 30 years ago. We ran out of beer and was heading back to town for more. He did not hook the front of the boat up and was dragging me half on the trailer across that parking lot with the skeg dragging before he saw me waving. But he had sense enough to stop and winch me on. Drove on home later that night and kept hearing something over the tunes we were playing, it was the transom saver dragging along the highway. That was a good ole boat. We used her like a jet before we had jets, just use the power trim thru the shoals. Gotta give the guy credit, he finally worked the trailer back under the boat.....
  21. Most phones allow you to turn off the gps in it, it saves alot of power. The phone still pings a tower and gives approx locations. Gps gives a target to within a few feet. With gps off, they know you are moving around, but they can't see you walking into Wally World. Not really paranoid, but have no need for the gps chip draining power. I turn off wifi and bluetooth also to extend the battery life. I use my phone as a phone most of the time. I have computers and tablets for the rest.
  22. Never figured out why people keep the GPS turned on all of the time anyway. The only time mine comes on is when I need to find something. Turning off saves battery life. The government needs to find better things to do than track what I do during the day.
  23. My fishing buddies live in higher risk cities, my grandkid is isolated from me and so is my daughter. I will have to fish alone or with the wifey.
  24. What I hear, standing room only at local conservation lakes.
  25. I think I will wear the bee suit with some modifications on the screen. White sheet with eyeholes gets too much attention around here.
