I am a need to know kind of guy. Always searching for the truth. Go to the grocery store, no pork chops? They have pork butts, pork steak, pork loins and tenderloins, pork ribs, country ribs, hollywood ribs, sirloin chops, bacon, sausage, ground pork, brats, baby back ribs, chitlins, and pigs feet. NO Pork Chops. I know there is a problem, the Covid got all the meat packers and prices have doubled. Nothing to do with the Meat Packers Union I am sure. When you cut up a pig, there are pork chops, its a select cut. The pigs are not deformed now and quit growing them. But I have not seen a Pork Chop for 3 weeks. Thoughts????

My snow peas were filling out pods. The two new bee hives I started off of existing have made their own queens and are a viable hive now. I split them off May 1. The two write off hives at the farm I thought were failing back in April have brooded up and I put supers on them today for a possible honey harvest. Lots of blooms out now. I really wanted to disc the garden today but run out of time. The plow job I gave it 2 weeks ago was pretty well dried out. But, I would have had to grease the disc and get it ready, not enough time. Never enough time...

Its a water snake with a full belly. You can tell more about it towards the end of the tail where orange bands on belly wrap back around. Water snakes have fat jaws, but copperheads have more of a curl there and horn like bumps over the eyes and pits. The pic sucks, because of the low light. He was alive and resting. The city guys pulled thru the park about that time, I alerted them to the critter. They called animal control and I took off to the next park to finish the job.
