Deep enough then, fill them to over flowing. Rain will settle them. The deeper the dirt, the better for the roots.

Lay down some weed block under them when you add the dirt, it will help in the future. What I have found on raised beds, the deeper the soil the better. Just guessing from the pics, 1x6 cedar?

I am in the burbs. But the karst topography and poor septic makes wells unstable. That is why we prefer public drinking water.

Boiled water takes effort and utilities. Easier to find bottle water, normally. Few gallons and a few bottles to get by for coffee and drinking. I have a filter on the Kitchen sink because the water purity seems to be defective most of the time. I wonder about its capability sometimes. A few weeks back I called them when I flushed the toilet and muddy water came out. May be what they are trying to fix. They will not issue a boil water order normally, too many C Stores on the system that rely on the fountain drinks. Bad for business for them. Bad for us if you rely on water purity. Its a poorly run system that I pay over 50 bucks for a month for 2 people.

They will all close soon. Not worth the risk. Think of all of those extra fish to stock the rivers with.........

Are you thinking the power grid is going down also? Even the third world countries kept the utilities on during the outbreak. But, the idiots that operate our local Public Water Supply decided that tomorrow would be a good day to break the line and do a repair or upgrade leaving us with a boil water order. Been a hassle finding bottle water to keep onhand until its safe to drink again. Thanks Public Servants, fcking morons.

They were in Panic Mode a few weeks back about Global Warming.

I know, its taken by the Aircraft Carrier Hancock. She started out a week ago Weds. as a boat purchase. Nice little 2002 15-48 Express with a layout that I wanted. She came with a 02 Johnson 4 hp prop, 36 lb thrust Motorguide Bill Dance edition, nice little trailer, 2 seats with posts, batteries, anchors and winches, and life jackets. She was sitting on the side of the road and I went back to pick her up after work for a song. Older couple had bought her new and pulled her back and forth to a little CA lake nearby. Like new. Sat., I drove to Doniphan and picked up a nice little 2000 Johnson 25/20 jet with electric start to complete the project. It was pouring rain and I had to go to TN for a wedding, the motor made its first trip to TN in the back of the Sequoia. Last week I stripped the anchor winches off, took the old trolling motor off and the 4 Hp Johnson. This weekend I made some pvc bows and put a cover on her. I moved the trailer winch forward and shifted the whole boat up on the bunks more. Changed out the tongue jack with one that has a side handle instead of the top handle knuckle buster. Adjusted the front riser down so the boat rides on the rear bunks square, before it sit too high and only the rear of the boat was on the bunk. In the process of filling holes drilled with pop rivets. Replaced the winch strap, old one was rotted at hook. Put new yellow roller on winch. Put a couple of new transom straps on, something the other guy never used. Transfer on the titles may be a problem, License offices may close soon. Several more things to go. Surely I will get to stay home soon.....

Might have to put a knot in it to stop the leak......

I never said they touched weiner. Came out of the stall after a good sit down, I am talking full blown fecal contamination.
