  1. Did not see that on the news.
  2. If a problem develops, eliminate the problem. I have all kinds of critters too but only for a short time. Electric fence work for deer. Traps and firearms for most others. 4' chicken wire keeps bunnies out.
  3. It should be easy enough. A drop of blue loctite should keep it from falling apart again.
  4. Good luck with that. I asked Bass Pro for a wiring diagram on my 08 Crappie Pro. The technician said it sure would be nice to have if one existed. Documentation on Tracker boats need to improve. I would really like to see what is under the deck before I run a self tapper for something. The factory transducer even had a screw thru the wire. The installers dont have a clue where wires run.
  5. Get a bigger gun
  6. You may need to go to Ruger on that one. Spring #5 is what you are missing. You may be able to make one out of a ball point pen. Brownells may have one. https://www.gunpartscorp.com/gun-manufacturer/ruger/revolvers-ruger/old-mdl-bearcat
  7. What did you get, what did you get????
  8. I have shot a bearcat many times. I love the little six shooter and was due to inherit one from my uncle. But his family took it. I think there is a spring in it. Have to look at a parts explosion to see what all is there. You should find one online or I can look tonight.
  9. Back in the summer, weak from radiation, I attempted to launch a boat by myself in a way different from normal. Instead of tying the rope to the crank on trailer, I just held on to it instead. As I pulled up the ramp, with the door open and my arm and leg dangling outside, the door slammed shut. Hurt like hell and I shoved it into neutral to stop and recover. Forgot I was on a ramp incline and other foot was not paying attention. I stopped it from going too far, but squalled tires doing so, truck went in farther than normal. Felt like an idiot and decided that I really should not even be there in the first place in my condition, alone. Loaded up and went home.
  10. There may be no tomorrow. Wife woke up to a stroke the second week of Jan. 54 years young, healthy. Appears to be caused by a minor surgery she had on inner ear on Jan 2. Anesthesia is hard on a person and increased risk of stroke by 30 percent. MRI showed that the vessels in her brain were smaller than average and also increased the risk. Her week of sitting around stagnant on the couch slowed circulation and bam, stroke. She is recovering fine, therapy has her left arm and leg functions up to 25 percent of right side now. Getting better every day. You never know. We all have a time and then we can't do any more. Enjoy every minute if you can afford it.
  11. One thing in life that I have noticed, life is short. If it brings you joy then do it. Better than regrets of not when you get to the point where all you have is time to reflect.
  12. Whats the hair for? Aren't you afraid of introducing toxins into the soil from chemicals in beauty shop hair? Perms, hairspray, dyes are all nasty stuff. My strawberry plants planted in the cells of the concrete blocks of my raised beds made runners all in the bed. I have a whole bed of new strawberry plants that I need to move soon. May clean out my beds today, looks like it is going to be nice. Have a gunshow to attend first.
  13. It is clear. Nice fish.
  14. Thats gotta hurt. Get well soon. Cancer can be beat. 11 months and still counting.
  15. Now they have released all the security measures taken place to avoid it, it will be easier for the next clowns.
  16. That took a little planning. If they had used walkie talkies, they would have gotten away with it.
  17. Pretty short eye relief. No dimple in forehead? The base should have caught on the slots in the mount. Did it walk over them too?
  18. So you are the one texting at a green light that flips the bird when I honk to wake you up.
  19. I used to do food inventory on a Commodore 64. Wrote the spreadsheet and all. Double sided floppy disk and all. It was a huge advancement from the dialup mainframe and Apple 2 c that we had in the labs at college.
  20. We have more computing power now in our cell phones than what went to the moon the first time. It is still far more impressive putting a man on the moon with the limited tech that was available back then. It does not really take that much to trouble shoot a pc now days.
  21. With Driver Error and Distracted Driving being the leading cause of accidents, why not start targeting that group? Start spending money and effort to try and reduce accidents and promote better driving. My favorite is the blue hair with a dog on the lap and a cell phone in hand. Probably goofed up on meds too. I drive mostly during daylight hours and early evening. Seldom am I out on roads after 8 pm. I want more protection from idiots during the time I am on the roads, not while I am home drinking a few beers and watching the TV.
  22. Then there are the ones with dogs on their laps.
  23. My point is, spend less time and effort on DWI and take care of the Don't need to Drives. Driving skills have gone down the tubes. I drive a company truck on a daily basis. On a daily basis, I get passed on a street or county road while driving the speed limit and get the look, a finger, or some other gesture as they go around. I can't drive thru the City of Cape Girardeau without seeing a run red light or have someone pull out or change lanes that requires a braking to avoid. The speed limit is 35 in most of the town and they have at least one rollover accident a month. That is hard to pull off at normal city speeds on nice level city streets. And its not the cell phone fault that I have noticed unless they are on bluetooth. It is just pure bad driving skills. I would much rather spend a day driving in St. Louis than one in Cape Girardeau. Quit spending money, effort, and enforcement dollars on a minimal problem of drinking and driving and go after something else that is worse.
  24. Cold weather is here and the junk science is swelling out of my internet connection. I just have to put my 2 cents into this "scientific study". It is my personal experience that there are a fair amount of people on the road every day that should not be driving, period. Either too old, too stupid, or too distracted. Then there is that other one that I am not going into, but this study points out that one single chromosome makes a difference. Impaired drivers make up a small portion of the accidents I see on a daily basis. Why don't we just spend more time and money on drivers education and teach people how to drive instead? Or we can just drive around stoned on the state sanctioned pot factories. http://www.kfvs12.com/story/37285019/science-panel-backs-lower-drunken-driving-threshold
  25. Sounds like a local off breed co. Somebody go help the man. Too far for me to drive.
