  1. I think I see a little gray matter there. He may have cut too deep.....
  2. Cats like purple. I used to fish a local pay pond for fun back in the 90's. It was overloaded with small bluegill and had several big bass lunking around in it. But they tossed channel catfish in every month or so. It was close, on way home, and only a couple of bucks. Most of the time she did not even charge me when I took out a bucket or so of those small bluegills. I stocked a few other ponds with them. Size 16 furbug was killer. Purple wooly would get all of the baitfishers crowding around me like Montauk on opening day. Watched them cuss me as I tossed them back after a good fight on a 5 wt rod.
  3. Bring back some fresh shrimp. And eat lots of cajun food. That will blow the cancer out of ya.
  4. 6 years today since discovery of last tumor in neck. Off to work, no meds.
  5. Find a little black bandaid or color that thing you put over it for a little humor.. Does that stay on all of the time?
  6. Can't use bait there, trophy area.
  7. Can't you squeeze out a turd eating grin when you take a pic after saving all of that money??
  8. Ed and Kay, and + 2 on Charlie Reading. Seriously, Charlie brought us the yarn egg from California neck of the woods. It was a game changer in the parks. Don't forget Ed Story, I think he really liked that place also. But Meramec and Montauk were in his adventures also.
  9. Last few weeks have been in right temp range, but ground still cold
  10. That ringing in my ears keeps the ear worms at bay.
  11. I would candle them after a week and see if anything is going on. Have you seen the roosters taking care of their part of the bargain?
  12. I have dealt with chicken eating dogs in the past, never worked out well for them. Funny how we value the eggs and meat from a chicken more than a dog.
  13. You are going to run out of land before too long. Better start looking for out yards. They are handy for many things, splits, different honey flavors.
  14. The moon and planets make for a nice view. Big all the way across rainbow in town before dark here. The red portion was as bright as any I had ever saw. But did not take a pic.
  15. I used to be pretty good sexing with the comb on the head and spurs on feet. Never tried the vent method. If you look close at the head, you will see difference in hens and roosters. Then look at the legs for spur development. Cocks will be more pronounced.
  16. The one in Cape will get a name change to TSC, I have saw remodel plans for it. Anyone ever shopped at Boomgaars? Never been in one. Looked at the website, looks like Orscheln. Never really cared for TSC, but was hitting the Orschelns when they updated a few years ago and added big sporting good selection. TsC is not into that
  17. Not all, that was what I had heard too. Tractor Supply does not have Sporting Goods in their stores. The one in Cape lost their guns last week in the transition. Not sure about the rest.
  18. I had a wife that worked, short term disability, and great insurance. I was able to work 6 weeks after surgery first round and used up all 6 months second time. I stayed in a room provided my the American Cancer Society for 6 weeks in chemo, no motels or daily commute. The hospitals have social service programs to help those that need financial assistance. My kids were grown, my bills were few, and my travel was limited. It was not a burden for me. We have a guy at work in late thirties, wife fighting terminal brain cancer. He comes in when he does not have to take care of kids from lack of sitter and works. From the office, he looks like a normal guy. But, he is going thru hell keeping it all together.
  19. Good luck with that. Orschelns just went under and sold. They tossed out all their stores on the market and nobody knows where it will go. Locally, in a 100 mile radius, they sold to 3 different vendors. Buchheits, Baumgartners, and Tractor Supply.
  20. I am sure you have seen others around you at the Hospital. They have it alot worse. Look at what they have going on and feel better that you don't have that dose of hurt going on. Mine was a cake walk compared to some. I learned to adapt and talk twice. And still make a living with my silver tongue. But, I am not without hurt as to the pain you are suffering. You are hurting more than me at this point. Keep up the fight. Since that torture, 4 of my grandbabies have been born and I have seen lots of great things. And I have met many new friends.
  21. What does not kill ya makes you stronger.
  22. If you had went a year ago...... So what is the long term prognosis if you let it run its course? Or have they ever had to deal with someone that decided to do that?
  23. Wear long sleeves, pants, and a floppy hat. So, it was basal cell, not squamous? Surgery not an option because it was there too long?
  24. I have not used led grow lights, but other led do not create heat. I assume the led grow lights just put out different wavelength to stimulate plants. They may heat also?.
