  1. Achy and feverish this morn, but still going to work.
  2. Out here in the burbs. Was in Frederick town two weeks ago, Wally had extras that the did not have show up for, Perryville, Sikeston, Dyersburg, Cape too.
  3. Shot 2 today. In and out in 4 minutes. Same as before, sore arm, stiff neck, and headache. Worked in garden after work today. Nothing severe. Wally World is giving them out like candy here. Every time I shop there, they have extra doses that they are announcing over the intercom.
  4. Post office probably gave them a wild ride. Cackle Hatchery is usually pretty good. I have a friend that has used them for years.
  5. Did any of the 5 carriers get shot?
  6. I have seen hairy, stinky, lazy, flat chested lesbians too. Usually one of the two match that description. Normally the one in a flannel shirt.
  7. I blamed it on you.....🤤
  8. Its a new world, Big Tech is running it all. Dog and Pony show from here out. Had to be something Ness posted.....
  9. Our new breed of Water Patrol would probably write a ticket. They were out at local Conservation Area this fall trying to ticket the duck hunters that were putting motors on MDC provided boats.
  10. Who is that feller on your avatar???
  11. Yes. Did not need the red tube, just the nozzle. Same effect as putting a air hose to it at home. May not clear all of the clog, but opens up the drain. It forces it back down intake tube and out jet foot. Definitely check for sign of over heating before you go get far. Mine has a red led and squealer, and will not power up if gets too warm.
  12. Nope. But I have run Lowrance units. Whats the problem??
  13. Having been on rivers with boats since a kid and over 50 years of experience, things have changed. The only game back then was a prop. But they were all short shaft. You had to be selective of the channel and run the river smartly. Jon boats or flat stern canoes. Props sheared a pin, pull over and put another in. Never run anything bigger than a 15 hp. Never really jacked up a motor or skeg, going too slow. 20 years ago, along came a Johnson 2 stroke 25 jet and a 16' jon. We did not run any shallower, but we did not have to replace the shear pins. We began to beat the boat up more. But we could push a boat faster and mow over stuff that we were plowing before. Boats on plane run shallow draft and motors don't go much further down below the water line if set up right on a river boat. Thats how it works, in a nutshell.
  14. Yes, it does. That year Merc 4 stroke has light and engine throttle down.
  15. Had a feller come into the office today and tell me some are popping up. That warm spell has stuff greening up around here way too early. Tonight will squelch that.
  16. Does the CAF still have B-29's that are airworthy?
  17. Complete with mushrooms.
  18. When you run a vacuum cleaner/jacuzzi, stuff gets stirred up in the mix. Things get clogged fast and no water out the peehole. 2 weeks ago, Current River ramp, buddy backs me in after a good rise. Shallow water ramp full of sand from winter floods, sucked the thing full, no water out the pee hole. I had prepped for this, backed up, jacked up the motor and popped the cork on my new cure. Little can of compressed air. Put it to the tube and let her rip. Soon I heard things perking and bubbling, then a hiss out the bottom. Fired up and peee'd a good stream. On to the river run that we had planned. I highly recommend this for those jet runners on here.
  19. Just like the term "tunnel hull"......which is redneck speak for "ghetto pontoon". Just when I had forget the smell of Miller Lite shooting thru my nose, I have to read this................
  20. The mood finally struck and its on. I had covered up 2 beds a few weeks ago. Bought some seed at the CO OP last weekend. Came home yesterday with 10 bags of Wally Topsoil and a mission. Started working on one bed, root wads. Guess that is why the tomatoes did poorly last summer, tree roots sucking the life out of them. Moved the bed and put down thicker ground cover. Wheel barrowed the dirt over from it and planted Alaska peas, spinach, radishes, and lettuce. Tore into another bed, dug up volunteer strawberries for later use, turned it over and added a stronger ground cover to block the roots that had invaded it. Cleaned out one of the strawberry beds and added some fresh dirt. Let it rain and settle it all down.
  21. Little old 18 hp Evinrude rolled into the dock on the TN River this weekend pushing a 1548 Jon Boat. Probably from the 60's, maybe early 70's. Ran like a top. I did make the comment that you never seem to see many old Mercs as we drifted on down the river.
  22. Crap, should have went out and bought another chainsaw to cut it out.
  23. Did this ever get certified?
  24. Picked up some seed Sat at the CO-OP. Have not made any effort to plant them.
  25. Tell us about your Gigalo years. IRS is probably not even watching this.
