  1. Chinards own many of our pork farms...
  2. Ya, a pound of plastic explosive in your back pocket is far less deadly and only gets what you aim at.... Ireland has its terrorist problem, much worse that ours. Kinda like a civil war.
  3. i could not tell you what the fish are biting now since all has happened. Have not really been out on the water since first weekend in Feb. Heading to TN next weekend, lots of pent of anger to the bass needs to be worked out. Probably throw my arm off.
  4. Is that the new pour? Need one dark pumpkinseed with some orange flake in it.
  5. Heavy Mayo. Miracle Whip sux
  6. I managed several Godfather's Pizza joints after college for about 5 years. Shrimp and pineapple or taco pizza. Made one last nite in the oven, Best Choice crust, tomato sauce with Italian season and parm cheese, Mozz cheese, beef, bacon, onion, and fresh mushroom. Tasty stuff.
  7. Decent size paddle. Make that 2, sucks to paddle alone. Forget the flimsy little foldup jobs. First Tracker I bought had a little 3foot paddle in it. Can't even whack a snake in the head with that, much less paddle a 17' bass boat.
  8. You could count on one hand how many teaspoons of honey I eat raw each year. I do cook with it. When I was young, I saw right off the bat, "them bugs have dirty feet Grandpa". And I never eat much honey. Now that my tastebuds are screwed, sweet does not taste right. I do it for a hobby, its a learning experience like any other.
  9. Fuses and a backup set of spark plugs on 2 strokes
  10. Lol. That's a long shaft too.
  11. 6.8 SPC was a round chambered for AR's for a while. About everything I have bought in the last 20 years has been black. Not many blued and walnut guns any more. Black Syn stocks, matte black barrels and actions. No shiny bright guns to scare off animals any more. Someone got wise.
  12. They probably sent CWD over here too....
  13. Same here, opened up a hive full of honey with a small cluster of bees dead where they were. Don't know if it was a quick chill night and the clusters were not big enough to warm them or what. Bees fly on warm days, but as they chill, they die before they make it back. We had several days that turned fast and may have killed too many. Catch a swarm and be back in business. Bugs are fun, but fickle livestock.
  14. How are the bees doing? I got lazy last year and did an experiment. Tried over wintering new hives that I made last year in double deep nuc 5 frame hives. Worked great, fat and full of honey. But something goofy with the hot and cold spells killed every one of them. I have lost 8 hives since the first of the year, back down to 10.
  15. Ya know the deer pee while they are eating those turnips.
  16. Bought some more dirt today to refill the raised beds. Planted Sun Sugar, Cherry, and Grape tomatoes today. Sowed some green beans and sugar snap peas also. Filled the cells on the blocks and sowed some lettuce in them. Picked some lettuce and spinach. Strawberries looking pretty good. Been too busy doing other stuff to worry about the yard or bees or garden much.
  17. Its a gray cat, maybe some catnip in background.
  18. Get a jet so you can hit the rivers too.
  19. Just like it says Enter at your own risk, but its the internet. Full of what most news media offers.
  20. Why are they still dumping corn in gasoline when the barrel of oil is only $18.
  21. Tasted like Pepsi.
  22. If they are private gravel bars, you would need permission from owners to camp I would think. Most private property on 11 PT is marked as private with access easement. But no public camping as far as I know.
  23. How about the one where MDC is great for wildlife management?
  24. Whatever happened to New Coke?
  25. But then you need golf cart, club membership, travel, lodging, greens fees, house at country club lane. Like anything else, it can be blowed out of proportion if your wallet is deep enough. I wish I had the money I counted yesterday on drive to lake and back. 50 seventy thousand dollar trucks pulling a trailer with a $25,000 side by side on it heading out to turkey camps.
