  1. Good job. Probably took some time finding the wood.
  2. That is the whole idea. They work well for that purpose. You just have to water them more.
  3. Handline category has to be wide open. This Covid thing and the shortage of fishing equipment will drive all kind of new records. Somebody has been missing the boat, I have seen bigger fish as bait on trotlines.
  4. But if they had built it up earlier, we would have been hunting them for years now like Arkansas does. They were ahead of the game on Elk too.
  5. MDC has always been kinda goofy in the way they managed the bears. Growing up as a kid in the late 70's, bear sightings were beginning to happen then. By the 80's, enough were seen that they started blaming Arkansas for them. And all of the news stories were covered by just a male passing thru toward somewhere else looking for a mate. Why don't we manage them like the elk, pour tons of dollars into them and let a few people get a shot at one for a rug. But they treat them like mountain lions. I am no bear biologist, but have studied animals throughout my life. Most just stick there nose up in the air for a whiff of poon when mating season comes around and head that direction. They don't go traveling aimlessly over several states hoping they will find the right one.
  6. Don't say. Who knows what they are up to with the bears. It has been a secret program since the start. I am not sure how they were following him from Wisconsin in the first place. All black bears tend to look alike. And that last pic was pretty fuzzy.
  7. Matching the hatch is all that matters if you want a little wiggle on the other end of the line.
  8. Facebook Bear Spotted in Arkansas.
  9. Just Saying............... Looks like he found his direction. Spotted in Arkansas.
  10. I would not camp at a place called Parkers Bottom, I know that guy and don't want to be near his bottom. Nice rig.
  11. I found one of them. They had dusted the mirror off with a paper towel and scratched it up pretty good.
  12. Not many other options with bibs. They work, but are hot and constrictive. Have to unbutton shirt or pull it up to draw. Probably a waste on money with your bad arm. Get a shoulder holster, better idea.
  13. Telescopes are a great thing, but you need a dark place to use them for the most part. A dedicated place to put them. And a good tracking system to keep up with the rotation of the earth. Most under $500 are just for looking at the moon. And the comet that passes thru every so many years.
  14. Took advantage of the cloud free night and went out to find Comet Neowise that is passing thru on a 6800 year cycle. May be the last chance I get to see it! Looking to the NW after sunset, under the bowl of the Big Dipper in Ursa Majors front foot, there is a triad of brighter stars. The head was under the top star and tail passing over it last nite. Filled the view in 10x binoculars. You can spot it naked eye, but a good pair of binos bring it up good. If weather holds Tonite, I may take out a spotting scope. Enjoy.
  15. +2. Probably X2 or more. People are buying up stuff like crazy. Markets are going to be filled with depreciated toys.
  16. That will be hard to work a fly rod under.

    Crabgrass?

Salt and Vinegar are both good weed killers.
  18. What, no catfish filets? Nice catch. We whack the cats on tubes all of the time. Caught one bass fishing last time out on a ned and a light rod. Looks like she had a good fight and did a good job landing it.
  19. All depends on the license agent. I have bought last 2 boats from IL. They title boat and trailer. Not the Motor. Just need a valid serial number. IL titles kayaks and all non motorized water vessels. They carve numbers into all plastic boats there, certificate of origin its called. TN does not license trailers and is goofy about they way they register marine vessels too. Titles don't show lein holders.

    Crabgrass?

Keeping a clean border around the beds helps too. A little roundup helps with that. I try to keep chemicals out of the beds themselves. Mulch or rock the borders. Crabgrass sends out shoots that seed and they get into the beds.
  21. And well worth over what he is asking for it.
  22. Did they steal anything or just doing donuts?
  23. Looks like a dead rotten carcass.
  24. I was wondering what he was trolling for with that. Seen that happen on Craigslist alot. Way too cheap.
