  1. Oh Oh, fish kill. Looks like a bunch of rough fish are tea toddlers. Jim Beam Warehouse runoff fish kill
  2. I would not really worry about it much. I would try a friend or family first and not go public with it. Advertising a firearm is just asking for trouble. Most gun shops will trade in or buy used guns. Big box stores will not. Or, keep it for a backup if you have gotten used to shooting it.
  3. The ones at my tire shop have better load rating than what Wally world carries. They wear better and don't heat up. The tire costs more than a tire and rim at Wally, but hold up better. My 12, 13, and 14 trailer tires are all steel belted radial tires. Cheap ones are poly cord. Cheap ones are ok on short trips with light loads. My bass boat runs on 4-5 hour trips at interstate speeds.
  4. When buying tires, always check the load rating on them. The cheaper tires are for lighter loads. I buy tires from a tire shop and have them mounted there also. They last longer than the cheap ones.
  5. Pretty small for Duck Creek. When was that pic taken? Looking at the background I am thinking 60's.
  6. Look into MOCARPS heritage.........
  7. That is what they are trying to target in a round about way. Its another word for Poacher.
  8. Unless you are a pro fishing, why in the world would you need to go that fast to get to your fishing spot?

    What's Cooking?

Are you sure they are rabbits, ground rats? If, only worry about basement windows.

    What's Cooking?

Looks like some sort of Instant Pot pressure cooker.
  12. But, is three more people sucking off a taxpayers teat. Welfare is cheaper, no pension.
  13. Where did they build the new boat ramp?
  14. I eat a bunch of them as a kid like that. But with the invention of the electric knife, no bone picking any more.
  15. Private Land is the largest part of Missouri. Private land generates the most tax revenue, Public land generates almost none except for some tourism dollars. Public land is property tax free, private land is taxed. Public land costs taxpayers money to maintain and mis managed by several government agencies. Public land is a burden and cost that taxpayers have to endure so others can enjoy it. Private land management does not cost a taxpayer anything if they don't own any. Private landowners pay for Missouri with their taxes based on the acreage they own and manage, taxes on the products they produce, why shouldn't they catch a break on their own land? Landowners pay the same sales taxes on the goods as you do. They pay for permits on lands they do not own.
  16. True. But what reason do they have to raise the acreage, has that been stated? It was the only thing I could think of.
  17. Looking for stick steer and 25hp jet so I can use it on 11 pt also. I have a trailer option. Is that 35 at head or jet?
  18. True, if you live in a refuge like yours. But on most barren lands of rural Mo. It would be hard during the day, without bait, to consistently kill on 5 acres during gun season.
  19. Kinda like peeling shrimp, shucking crawdads, or cracking crab legs. You have to do some work for the good stuff.
  20. I have the same set at farm. Porter Cable is just a DeWalt in different paint. Handy set of tools.
  21. Main question. Does anyone know if a fly-fisher has ever been ticketed for a fly with materials in question? I have never been aproached in a trout park by any agent and asked in 30 years.
  22. The land owner thing has been abused. Many that own 5 acres have killed deer elsewhere and tagged them as land owner. Seriously, how many deer can you kill on a 5 acre property without shooting a neighbor???? Creating a landowner registry is BS. They have one already, its called the tax registry. People pay taxes on the property they own. Well, they don't really own property, they pay the government annually for it. And there is a record.
  23. Missouri spends alot of money trying to promote tourism, as do other states. Right now, TN out of state license tops them all, over $100 for all species with trout. Arkansas is pretty steep too. Il is cheap considering what everything else is in that state. You would think sporting fees would be kept lower to encourage tourism, but all of the "natural states" seem to think along my lines.
  24. Bluegill are about the only fish I fillet and eat. If I get into a run of white bass, they will hit the cooler too. Sometimes a stray catfish goes in too.
  25. Technically, it is a gray area that does not seem to matter. But since nobody seems to care if you use powerbait in fly areas unless you complain, it is an approved material. As long as it is on a single hook and at the end of a spin rod setup.....
