    Hybrid?

Some hybrids have been proven for years staying on the market. Let them prove themselves for a couple years. Truth and fact here you do know the heirlooms have the best flavor you can get. Hybrids of any veggie have been created for high harvest rates but at a cost losing their flavor. We love ugly heirloom tomatoes in this house!

    Hybrid?

Is this just the latest or the latest and the greatest?
  3. I see you have been cruising the internet. Seen that too. Mix in some crab boil too!
  4. Fun times Daryk! It isn't all about the size and numbers as you know. It is how much you enjoyed the outing.
  5. My hull is a bit heavier than yours and still a rough ride on choppy water. Like yours up on plane quickly and even with no ribs grabs and turns good. The sides are what is called a triple chined. It will bite in on a turn. Makes up for the rib's you guys have, I guess. Thanks, for your input JD and @snagged in outlet 3
  6. Yea Sandy!
  7. Going to have insurance do it for me someday I guess.
  8. Here's why I asked. I have a rib only on front. After that it's flat as a pancake. I have rounded river bends where it becomes wide to whitecaps. Some serious air pockets happen and it goes to a slow down quick deal. Not opposed to using it on lakes but big wakes are a pain. Plus beats you to death.
  9. ALMOST wants me to have cataracts to get rid of trifocals. They will happen because it is part of life.
  10. Thanks for a nice cool water trip report. It was refreshing .
  11. Les and I were just talking about that yesterday!
  12. Not elitist IMO just a very expensive sport. I would like to catch one and I am by far an elitist, but it will never happen for the price cost.
  13. Do you guys have ribs running along the boat bottom?
  14. Yes but I was asking about open water what you were using with a flat bottom. Jet or Prop?
  15. You talking jet drive or prop JD?
  16. Thats a fact but they sure do go in some thin water!
  17. Thanks, I am interested too in what we will see.
  18. It's getting pretty hot to get out of the vehicle now. Seen some craziness on 13 highway last Saturday. Heading home North we did the standard 65 MPH. Cars were zooming past us making bad moves and just stupid stuff. I had Pat speed up to see just how fast some were going. One we could not catch at 75. We went back to normal and low and behold a Highway patrol man was sitting in the median watching traffic zoom by.
  19. Not really any out there I know of. My Mapping cards go up rivers some to lake boundaries. From then on just shows river channel until river peters out. Even in our boats Pete won't get that far unless floods. Then we will be cleaning out jet grates. 馃お
  20. pla路ce路bo [pl蓹藞s膿b艒] NOUN a harmless pill, medicine, or procedure prescribed more for the psychological benefit to the patient than for any physiological effect: "his Aunt Beatrice had been kept alive on sympathy and placebos for thirty years" 路 [more] synonyms: medication 路 medicament 路 remedy 路 cure 路 nostrum 路 patent medicine 路 quack remedy 路 panacea 路 cure-all 路 drug 路 prescription 路 dose 路 treatment 路 physic 路 medicinal a substance that has no therapeutic effect, used as a control in testing new drugs. a measure designed merely to calm or please someone: "pacified by the placebos of the previous year, they claimed a moral victory" BINGO! Pat during her treatment was approached about doing a couple trials which she did. We to this day do not know if she got the real thing or the placebo. Hers was not for a psychological effect but to help someone down the road. Her regular treatment was not altered but this was an addition.
  21. Thanks uncle Ronnie! Good job with the lens and report.

  23. Best Fathers day report to wake up to this morning Daryk. You are a good daddy! Happy Fathers day to you Daryk and all here on OAF. Kids need good dads to take then fishing.
  24. Personally I would call Jefferson city DMV and talk to someone. I tried talking to local DMV. That got me nowhere. When I told her what I was trying to do and had gone through she laughed. Gave me numbers of what forms I needed. Went to local DMV and asked for all the forms. They frowned but gave them to me. Filled everything out, called the highway patrol and got that set up. Easy when you deal with someone in the know. Now do all renewals by phone.
  25. That worked for me once but I have heard that now homemade needs to be inspected by highway patrol. Just hearsay don't take it for the gospel. I did mine at a regular inspection station. Years ago. DMV issued new serial number.
