Well Mr. Agnew you are going to hear a good story about the Highway Patrol today. Had a Neighbor who passed and his wife sold the farm and moved. They had a small Lowe johnboat at their pond for years, many, many years. Always stored upside down and in pretty nice shape. She wanted me to have the boat. I brought it home and cut new boards for the transom. Went to the DMV for guidance. This was my biggest hurdle. We had a regime for years of some in charge there that were terrible. No, no, no where what they told me. I called and talked to a real nice lady from Jefferson City asking what to do. She sent me a very simple form which I got my neighbor to sign. No search for a lost title or other junk. I then called my area MHP office and talked to another person who said I would get a call later in the day. That call was again very pleasant, and it was a MHP officer. I asked where we could meet to run the VIN numbers. He was out of Stockton and asked for my address. He came to me and first thing he said was nice garden. Looked at the replaced transom and said nice job. Ran the numbers and signed the paper told me to send direct to Jeff City and don't even mess with local DMV office. Then we proceeded to talk garden and he asked if he could take pictures of it. Some things are pretty simple if we don't make them complicated. I mostly now do online vehicle when I can with the DMV. Much better folks to work with.

Very nice Devan!

It is true. Know several that have eaten them. Just not us yet. Not afraid just not a young one at the right time. Muskrat and beaver we have eaten and they are good.
-
Yes, then can climb trees! Our dog Sadie rip treed them here all the time. Never have eaten one but might someday. Grandma said in lean times ate them all the time.

I would like to add I want to be your friend! What a paradise. A flyrod dream for sunfish.

I will say if it is truly doing damage take it out and keep quiet about it. I am going to add a small game license is cheap compared to other forms entertainment available. Just buy it and support our conservation department and what it has done for all of us. This previous sentence is not up for a gripe discussion so please don't go there. We are very lucky here in Missouri and the license is well worth the money.

Simply wonderful. Beautiful fishes.

When you are a hillbilly and cook it's called fixins. Storm spotter hillbillys see a storm forming and say it's fixin to be a big one. Whatever works.

Wonderful Ronnie!

When were arctic grayling introduced? Arctic Grayling were first introduced in the early 1940s in the United States. These fish came from selective water bodies in Alaska, Montana, and Michigan, where they were taken from their native habitats. The first place in which they were introduced in the United States was Arizona.

I get that and we also seem to cram too much into trips. Glad we did though and completed our goals. With the current state of things not sure when we will be able to repeat and add more. Maybe when Pat retires and if the finances allow. Trips will be more expensive as we all know.

@Devan S. Thank you for posting and letting Pat and I take a walk down memory lane. We will get back there someday and would like to repeat our trip out there and recatch the natives of the Apachie, Gila and Rio Grande species. Congratulations on your success young man. You will never forget trips like this. Marty and Pat

Nice Rick! Yesterday we were between Osceola and El dorado springs. Fifty yards from road I spotted one as Pat was driving 55 mph. A well manacured lawn with scattered trees I spotted one. Made Pat turn around I went and checked it out. Too far gone. I would of knocked on door if it was pickable.

This would be called the Giggle disk test.

My buddy from Herman and his wife came to BilletHeadVille yesterday. Spent the night with us and took home two swarm traps full of bees back home with them this morning. He has not had much luck trapping any up there. this may throw a wrench into the high class rural Herman bees up there. My hillbilly wild feral strains mixing with the wine vinyard pollinators.

Those pink squirrels are the bomb.

You were very blessed. Neat story. Some wonderful folks still are amongst us.

Wish I was closer. Would not cost you a thing Rick either. I have a crabapple in the yard. When it blooms it is a loud place when you are under it when the bees are on it. It has a bumper crop this year. I do have a suggestion though/ Give your county extension office a call. There are bee keeping clubs all over. I bet one or more of the members would love to put a hive on your place.

Know nothing about it Glen but do it or something please.
