  4. Nice Jim! Need any more mallard flank? I have you some.
  5. Hot dang! No place like home.
  6. Good catch, Besides light conductors causing faults there is the danger of melt downs of the wire and plug in areas. Many a home has caught fire from too much load. Then there is wear and tear on what you have on the end of that cord which needs the proper voltage to operate correctly. this is where Ohms law comes in. Ohm’s Law - Statement, Formula, Solved Examples, Verification, FAQs (byjus.com) Brings up memories of my previous life in the field.
  7. Call it lets test your GFI socket :). Electrical roulette.
  8. Yep, Thats what I have. Bathroom, kitchen and front and back porches. Anywhere a damp condition can occur. I should do this in open garage also. Have a bunch in there. If it's worth doing it's worth doing right. I tend to overbuild.
  9. Yep, that can cause it also. Size of wire and length of extension cord go hand in hand. Normally the GFI is made to protect people, but the long extension cord can sense some voltage leakage causing the GFI to trip. Been some good answers here. Try another GFI first or rule out each possible culprit in the circuit. Answer is there just needing some investigative work.
  10. Try another GFI outlet. They can get weak. Had one do that. Also had one that kept tripping and found out had an icemaker in freezer going bad. Those things can find the most minute weak link.
  11. Anytime we can make it work and anywhere you want to try :).
  12. Hey, you took care of all of them for many years. It comes a time for the kids to reciprocate. Pay back for many years of them making you miserable and happy. 😆
  13. Perfect finish! Now get after them in the South zone. I know where you will be . Most of the time anyway.

    What's Cooking?

Then today, I went on a cooking bender. I had read the winning recipes from here, https://www.themeateater.com/hunt/small-game/world-championship-squirrel-cookoff-recipes Decided to try the first-place winner. Well, it was a winner here too. Followed the recipe exactly. S&P the squirrel pieces then browned them. Dried chiles were seeded and got happy in some water. All ingredients blended to make the sauce The browned squirrel added to the sauce and simmered four hours, When it was tender pulled from the sauce and deboned. Then added back to sauce. Taste test! Hot dang! When Pat got home from work corn tortillas heated. Meat and sauce put in. Then Queso Fresco, cilantro and red onion. Juicy tacos. Can eat about half of each one buy hand then a fork is needed, Super good and can understand why it was a winner. There will be some enchiladas worked up this weekend. All fork work eating :).

    What's Cooking?

With the cold day yesterday and other things not going well around here we wanted some comfort food. So a batch of tomato bisque soup was made. It hit the spot and tasted like a summer day. So glad I dehydrated so many tomatoes. On the side was grilled cheese on salt rye bread and a tall glass of milk.

  19. Sounding really good Glen!
  20. All I can say is the .25 cal air rifle works very well out here. Oops did I just say that? Very much an issue here but seem to be under control at the moment. Strays which in actuality are dumped near out buildings and barns on farms for others to take care of. Dogs the same.

  22. Eating the skin.
  23. Forward to the prep and cooking part. They are utilizing the skin.
  24. Probably utilize the skin in cooking and eating is my guess. I think it is a singe like I do on my duck and goose breasts. Quick then brushing off the singed stuff?
