Ned will become your new little fishing buddy I guarantee Mr. Liphunter. I mainly fly fish for everything including bass but when I get bored or fishing with a friend who is targeting bass I grab my friend Ned and go at it. Pretty fun, BilletHead

I thought that was Calafornication ? It was a mess in 75 when the family moved back to Missery . I can hardly imagine it now. BilletHead

Hey man you are trying to find the niche of what works best for you. We all have to adjust to fit our individual needs. Seems we have to adjust daily at our age. You are making a great deal for someone on the forums. If I had decided to go 24V instead of 12V I would of been all over this deal. Still fighting getting Miss Pat's birthday trolling motor here. First one came in damaged from shipping. What a fiasco but number two should arrive today. Again great deal Griz, BilletHead -
Finally the tub dirt thawed so I could do some garden work. I am so over the lingering winter. Need to get the indoor started lettuce outside. All of the single non wicking tubs were emptied into the big beds. Moved them over with a two wheel cart and one shovel at a time until all that dirt was moved. I plan on replacing these tubs with the double wicking ones. The wicking tubs worked so well last year. The ones I had tomatoes in I will be using for peppers this season. The new ones will be tomatoes. This way I can rotate each year to help prevent tomato disease at least this is what we are shooting for. So I got two shoveled out into a wheelbarrow and remixed the dirt. I had apprehension of what the paired tub bottoms would look like. With all those little holes in the bottom to drain and wick water up and down I thought there would be dirt and mud in the bottom one. Nope all that was in there were fine roots from the past seasons plants. I felt this was a win. This was enough for the day and still not standing straight this morning. Two days of rain up to three inches forecasted. Rest and project will be picked up later. For what we have invested over the years growing and learning we could of bought lots of commercial raised veggies but the taste of homegrown is hard to beat. For those of you that are in wet areas or bad ground Like we have in our yard I urge you to try a couple of these big wicking tubs. BilletHead

That's where they disappeared to :), Actually I don't keep too many. Much better fish to fry out there but I will do my best to sore lip bookoos of the temperate beasts! Get ready Pete it may just happen, BilletHead

Way to go Brett! Like Father like son and the nut doesn't fall far from the tree. What a dad! Bass thumb trumps a green thumb. Wait you are a farmer and have the green thumb too. Nice and thanks for making my morning better, BilletHead

Thanks man. Messy right now but a hand me down from my grandpa and grandma. Best kind of table. Full of memories, Not mine Rick! I keep my pink robe in the closet with other secrets. Skeletons too :). This pink was Pat's new sweatshirt. A good story from today about this pink pullover. We went to the nursing and rehab to visit my mom this morning. Pat wore the thing. As we entered there was a little elderly lady in a wheelchair. She looked as though she had ran into the wall at an angle. She was holding a full sized baby doll in crossways in her lap. She was staring off into the distance. We visited mom for quite awhile. When we walked out the lady was still in the hall but her wheelchair had been straightened out and she was looking down the hall towards us again in a blank stare. As we got closer she focused on Pat and in the faintest voice out came "where's the fish" ! I told her we were still looking for them . Amazing it was the greatest thing, BilletHead

Nothing fancy here this weekend but good, Yesterday grilled/smoked chicken thighs with steamed carrots, salad and asiago cheese toast. Used cherry wood on the sides of the coals. Today split a ribeye with Mrs. BilletHead with fried taters with onions and cheese some been greens too. This also with charcoal and cherry wood. Heat and smoke. Lid on lid off was the drill for the grill , Notice kitchen table and not TV trays, BilletHead

Looks good Wrench, Well purse or not thanks for the food contribution instead of spreading hate and discontent among the troops. You can learn some neat stuff from the resident chefs. Air gunners call it a pellet bag Rick. More manly type of purse. Can't get pellets in a wallet. BilletHead

Nice going Jeff and his sidekick Ned. You guys make a good pair, BilletHead

I am with you Rick, Had a hard time lighting the charcoal. Had to move the grill behind a windbreak to keep the match lit. Thought once the chicken was going to blow off the grill! BilletHead
