  1. Yep things are wonky on here! Not talking about members on the forum but it may still apply :).
  2. Jamie have you ever had that cool neat beast of a boat stuck on a shoal yet? If so does the slick plastic make it easy to slide off?
  3. I think as soon as you gift them they are out of your possession. If caught that day yes go to your limit but next day you can catch more. The giver does need to label it. I do not believe the gifted need to have a valid license as long as the giver name is on the package. I gift out waterfowl most seasons. The receiver does not have to have a license or waterfowl stamp, again the game or fish does have to be taken by a licensed fisher or hunter. Tagging and labeling sounds hard but so easy. We do this on everything and keep a sheet on what goes in the freezer and out to eat.
  4. This brings up a good point. 46 years ago we went on vacation to tullibee lake in Minnesota where my grandparents lived. Grandpa used a flasher. He was so mad because there was a guy that had a new paper graph finding fish. The guy kept running over spots and took the graph paper and was selling the paper pieces to other fisherman. Grandpa would roll over in his grave if he could right now. How funny @MrGiggles you would bring this type of thing up! Thanks for the memory wakeup.
  5. I have done it in a 1754 with a 60/40 I think? Pucker factor and fear would not let me shut it down to measure . P.S. Always remember to tip and tie up the transducer!
  6. Excellent @nomolites! A gazillion dead and dying shad floating around and none were gizzard. Must be very rare? Need a biologist to weigh in on this subject : ) Maybe as rear as bigfoot, Momo, Sasquach and Yeti. Then there is black panthers and aliens too. The proof is not for me to show it is the believer to show. Anyone want to think I have a gold mine in my yard? Everyone want me to prove it? Naw just have to take my word for it!
  7. No fishing is terrible on those two lakes just like Pomme right?
  8. Me three.
  9. Mighty nice! As you would say @rps Bravo.
  10. More healthy to eat fresh fish. That's just what lazy overweight folks need. Hotdogs and fast food? Nothing wrong with the occasional fish fry. Our waters are managed pretty good here in Missouri.
  11. Oh My Gosh, It was like a 2 inch layer of slime last year.
  12. Pong, tank, missle command. Then straight to asteroid .
  13. What is amazing is we as fly fishers catch unintentionally on the backcast without even trying. Should count double points.
  14. We used to go to a local burger dive once a week to shove quarters in the darned game!
  15. Does anyone remember the video game Joust? "Prepare to did buzzard bait!"
  16. I actually wanted to go over and ask him if it was a local deal and taken them in my truck but was on way to an appointment.
  17. Funny watching this happen then off he went!
  18. As a kid in Southern California I caught many of these for pets. They liked mealworms but ants were preferred. I could take out my "hornytoad: and put it on an anthill and they would go nuts lapping them up. Great fun!
  19. Read above if you haven't already. A gentleman had a bucket full but didn't want to clean them so he dumped the bucket. Some were belly up
  20. Sorry too much coffee this morning!
  21. Five gallonlon buckets have kill more white bass than hellbenders. @Johnsfolly and @Quillback and @liphunter. 🤣
  22. I'm like Dave but many miles away. "Have flyrod will travel" If it is raining there like it is in BilletHeadVille the river will be blown by the time I make it. 😁
