Oh heck yes! My buddy that lives up by Herman has a favorite saying. " you have to be tough when your stupid".

I believe the trout stamp is included. No more buying it at all. Still have to do the daily fee at the trout parks. Great deal for the migratory waterfowlers too if you do it. No more need for the state migratory license. Still have to give the feds money for theirs though.

Lets put that barbacoa meat and sauce to use. It's my lunch and I will have it fixed again and ready for Pat when she gets home from work. Yes I know I used three pieces of cast iron this morning. I know how it is seasoned and how easy it is to clean. A little fat in the skillet to crisp up the barbacoa meat. As this was going on a couple tortillas heating on the griddle. Then a nice heaping spoon full of the chili/adobo sauce to mix in. Lettuce, onions and smoked sharp cheddar ready to go. Heated some leftover Spanish rice and made me a couple soft tacos. I am so satisfied right now. Good weather for cooking and eating

Chili or adobo sauce, So did another batch of barbacoa meat. With this was a recipe for a chili/adobo sauce. three different dried chilis for this. Guajillo, Ancho and Chipotle. With no Ancho in the pantry subbed Pisilla chilis. Simple and easy sauce. You need, First in some fat (I used goose fat) brown onions then add garlic and torn deseeded chilis, stir a bit. Add some water and simmer until chilies are soft and tender. All of this into a blender and blend until it is like a thick BBQ sauce. Salt, pepper and lime juice to taste. Dang I was eating it by the spoon full. A bite to it but not hot. I can see the uses to this stuff down the road and trying the plethora of dried chili peppers that can be purchased at the Latin markets. many of the big chain markets have some of these peppers available.

Been there done that fishing and hunting in inclement weather conditions. Had to do that at work so it was a must. Time made me do that because it was sometimes the only time I could go. Now I pick my days. I try to think it is because I am smarter instead of a old fart.

Cool did not know that, Funny story. working for a power utility company for years and driving the rigs we did when it became a regulation for log books we had to keep one. As long as we operated that truck even not driving but being on the job with that truck drilling holes and setting poles we were under the regulations. So we get big storms either tornados or ice even severe lightning storms we were out. 24 hours plus depending on if we had energized lines on the ground. So the rules under DOT began to supersede union ruled for rest periods. We would work less hours and get longer rest periods which was much better. If they could they would work you until you physically couldn't any more. It was not just physical it was mental. You should not be working energized lines tired. One mistake and you are just a puff of smoke. So it got to be where under DOT you would have to quit and go home. Have to call another crew. Worked if you had enough people in the district to do that but in our smaller district when something big happened we all went home. So they would call crews out of KC to work. They were not happy at all and when widespread outages like ice storms hit everybody was busy. So funny management went beserk. Pretty soon the governer became involved and then those DOT regulations were wavered in certain emergencys. Who made that call to call it an emergency? All I know is we still had to do our morning DOT inspections to keep trucks and trailers safe. worked us like they wanted us to. Our logbook was just on computer entered by our timesheet. A joke. Company has changed a couple of times and both times a diferent contract and it makes diferent union rules. Since I have been gone do not know the changes. This has been a walk in my past time capsule. Thanks

Hey Bobby if you don't find what you want you might try @JUNGLE JIM 1 on here for your float and fly needs.

Wow I would be concerned about my log book too if he was not keeping it up of fudging on it! Dang!

Jack of all trades master of none, Dutch you too do many things know that for a fact! Mike, The bangtails are on a MFC hook #2 on front and #4 tail end. Says wide gap but nothing like the B10s. I try to go by recipe given by Kelly Gallop first few times than tweak for what I want. The Jerk Juniors you bet on the 1/0 B10s love those hooks! Thanks John, I would say I will be giving the pond bass fits until the crappie start moving up out of the lake and the temperate bass become active. Anticipating a good year. Always learning.
