  1. A farm fishing pond where koi got accidentally introduced. They then began to spawn and went berserk.

Yes you do tell the truth. What have you been using your vintage Griswold for again? 😲
  5. I did and will continue to but still there is too much love for stinkin bass. I want a drum tourney catch and keep and you have to eat your drum . That and hey where is the love for bluegill?
  6. I have two large safes overflowing with powder burners and know a couple on here that might have triple of that but am enjoying the quietness of air gunning. I wasn't saying you need to get into the hobby just relaying you need to upgrade your red rider.
  7. You just have a big heart. Nothing wrong with that. I am that way but when they become destructive you have to do what you have to do. Fur is pretty much worthless. No one keeping them. There needs to be some control.
  8. You need a new pellet rifle. I have dispatched many. It is the angle that counts.
  9. I get to look at the old gal everyday.
  10. Ate the one I shot in Canada with my recurve many years ago. I can remember it was an interesting taste. That's about it. If I was able to do it again I would eat it.
  11. I think you should do the cat food can deal just like I suggested under the trap and pan. You said you didn't have any skunks! .
  12. Dig a small hole and put bait under the trap pan beneath the cage.

    What's Cooking?

You can spatchcock your chicken, your turkey, your duck but can you spatchcock your squirrel? You bet you can. Well at least that's what I call this one. Maybe spread eagle? Our season opened yesterday and this time of the year is the best for bagging a young one. My eyes have been peeled for just that. Been thinking about this for some time. Well one ran into my scope crosshairs and a pellet to the head took it out. So we will grab some seasoned flour. A number 10 vintage Wagner skillet and a bacon press. Some goose fat too. Preheated the skillet and on another burner the bacon press. Added fat to skillet and coated the squirrel. I had flattened him like a pancake. Ribs just separated at the backbone. Rubbed some of the hot oil onto hot bacon press. Layed the squirrel in and put the press on top. let it sizzle then flipped on its back. Back on went the press for a repeat. Out when golden brown to a plate both sides looking good. Then went about eating. Tender fall of the bone good. I could of eaten a half dozen!
  19. Dang looks good Ness! It was time to clean up lettuce and bok choy bed this morning. We will be eating salad 97 ways. This is just half. I had bagged that amount already. Not sure what yet will take its place. Our snow peas look nice but no blooms yet. Tomato plants besides getting taller are putting on some girth.
