  1. Good report and good times with your son. Well done!
  2. Thanks Derek! Good report for the thinner than normal participation. You all had great weather too.
  3. Ok then make sure Dutch moves once in a while also. I think those black ones are creepy. Our turkey vultures are still the majority up here but more and more of the black ones are showing up.
  4. They are waiting for all those retirees to die. Jeff keep moving all you can. 😆
  5. Not a turkey vulture. It is a black vulture. Black Vulture Identification, All About Birds, Cornell Lab of Ornithology
  6. Ha! Yes, they do when smoked. But old ones are as tough as boot leather unless put in a slow cooker for five hours until a long braise breaks them down.
  7. We Aren't fishing if the weather is nasty, but we are going to visit with friends old and new. Poor excuse Jeff but all is forgiven if it is not safe driving. 😀
  8. For Sure. Unbelievable actually.

  14. Very nice Glen. I have been doing something similar for four years except using shades of grey for the back. Temprate bass really, really love them.
  15. After attending and eating at two Jigfests it should be renamed foodfest.
  16. We had the total opposite on the Western side of the state. The week before firearms was crazy right through the first week of firearms. One day we seen 8 different bucks walking through the yard and out the back window with that glaze in their eyes looking. I seen another 8 bucks looking and chasing on firearms opening day hunting over at mom's place. On the scrape front used hard right up until the rut. Then nothing to speak of. That won't pick back up until the second rut breeding for the does that didn't take of get bred first go around. As far as I know both of these two deer made it through season as no one in the neighborhood shot them. First one on November 20th the other one two pictures on November 7th. This camera is 30 yards from out front door. This pine gets beat to death and scrape on both sides of it. From our front porch we get to see deer both bucks and does work it during daylight hours. I got to see the first buck at ten yards last week. Behind the house I pilled last camera I had out. He crossed fifteen yards in front of me. A very impressive body on that guy.
  17. It's sad loosing artists like this but oh how our lives are enriched with their music!
  18. Thanks Mitch we really do. 18 and 19 when we got married. We learned much as our early adult lives came together. She had four days off in a row. We did not go anywhere or do anything out of the household. I went to the shop to mess with the wood lathe. shoe would come out and check on me. You, Ok? Yes, I told her. As she was going out the door, I stopper her. Said This is what retirement is all about. I got a funny look. When I went inside, I was amazed at what she had done. I should hide out more often. 😁
  19. My life as I know it will end on March 15th when Pat retires. My gravy train on Bisquit wheels is going to be derailed. 🙄
  20. I love this! I am two years behind on something I was asked to do. Maybe she has forgot about it? 😉
  21. Well, the last time we had a tiny baby in the house it woke us up every couple hours to be fed and change the diapers. 😆
  22. You know I really didn't pay much attention but will look next ones we get. This happened last Thursday morning.
