  1. They only work if you regularly move them.

    Cape Fair

Color typical Cape dingy. Lots of debris in James above Pt. 15.
  3. I put the last few on injured reserve. They may be filing insurance claims because I haven’t seen any in the last couple of days.
  4. Has there been enough water to cause floating debris?
  5. Another place where you might look is Bass Boat Seats. https://www.bassboatseats.com/collections/bass-boat-seats/layout_bench-set
  6. I had Lowrance HDS units and ran them off my series 31 cranking battery. Within a year they killed it grave yard dead. I got a warranty replacement and within a year the same thing happened. After I traded boats I switched to Humminbird and they killed my cranker. I went to the Batteries + X2 for a cranking battery. It is a lot more powerful than a regular series 31. If you belong to Sam’s club they usually have good deals on quality agms.
  7. Are you going to have them redone or get new? When I had my Champion I had LleBroc make me some seats. https://www.llebroc.com/
  8. Is your little a little brother?
  9. I’ve never seen them down there. When we chased them west of the island at Masters and between Pt 7 and Pt 5 were the most reliable.
  10. Will a wounded squirrel if it survives come back to the place where it got popped or is their brain too small for remembrance? I prefer to pop in a non lethal area thus I don’t have a corpse to throw out.
  11. I have a fountain and a bird bath that is out there. They used to eat seeds off the ground by the bird feeders and drink from the bath then leave. Now they make another stop on the way out. Will they go in a live trap?
  12. No I haven’t but it looks like a losing proposition. I can only deter those that I can see and I’m not watching tomatoes 24/7.
  13. I’ve never had this problem before. Now I am seeing them daily and much of the time I see them leave with a tomato in their mouth. Lead has not proved to be an effective deterrent. Eight of them won’t be coming back but nothing has changed. There seems to be too many of them. Is there any kind of rain proof repellent that I can use?
  14. So you were a go getter?
  15. The first thing I did was remove most of the grease before I put it on a rod. I still have probably 15 of the 1000s, 2000s, and 2500s dating back to 2001. They are still going strong as long as I dry the anti reverse bearings occasionally. I don’t own anything other than Shimano reels.
  16. With the lake being low I’m thinking about going down there in the morning and throwing a spinnerbait if my back will let me after I get the tile and grout cleaning and sealing done.
  17. It was the anti reverse roller bearings. Even a little oil did the same thing. Kept clean and dry was the ticket.
  18. That is absolutely the same way it is for me.
  19. The Stockton forum never has been very busy. There were maybe 10 regular posters at its height. Almost all of them have drifted away. Ketchup, Targa and I may be all that’s left. Ketchup and Targa don’t post regularly and I have found Stockton to be tough enough this year that I have opted for Table Rock for most of my fishing. Sorry I don’t have any news.
  20. Maybe the same way that I did with screw locks, heat up a wire and melt a channel in it. That was the only way I could get a screw lock to penetrate them.
  21. That bout made me pee my pants.
  22. Another place is across from the ramp at Nemo.
  23. I’d start at Martin Flats. That’s where I’ve seen them most.
  24. I checked with her. She already has one. Sorry.
  25. My daughter might be interested. However she and her husband are doing a dock rebuild in Mill Creek at SK. I’ll get in touch with her and see. I can let you know later. It may be a while as they are playing tick tock with the COE.
