My comes by motor tech and my small engine guy both recommend it so that is what I do. A few bucks here and there don’t amount to much in the grand scheme of things. -

I buy Conoco 91 octane from a local company. I’ve never had a problem with it and run it in my outboard and all of my small engines. -
The wind is ripping now and not supposed to settle down before Wednesday.

I have seen some videos from the Facebook Table Rock Lake group. All the upper areas look nasty.

I saw some pics of Cape Fair Marina and James at Pt 15. It is nasty.

877.41 at 1:30 still rising. I talked with the State Park and COE. Both have pulled the courtesy docks. If any of you are close by, how about some pics.

It looks 10 high this morning. They will be pulling out the courtesy docks real soon if they haven’t already done it.

I just checked it’s come up another foot. That’s 4 feet in 12 hours.

Wow. The last time we go anywhere near that our farm was cut off for 3 days because of flooding and we lost 6,000 feet of fence.

Sounds like you need to take an inner tube float. You could cover ground in a hurry.

We’ve been getting about an inch a day but in the last 10 hours we have received 3.5” of rain. So I guessing that James will be flooding. I checked USGS for Stockton. It has come up 2 feet since midnight.

Those old Norwegians probably weren’t on as much blood thinner as I am.

I like the fishing but the cold is getting harder and harder to tolerate.

Good day for sure. They were also biting in the James. My neighbor figured it up on the way home. We caught a fish very 7 minutes and 23 seconds but never had a double . My birds showed 64 and 65 every where we went.

My neighbor and I fished below Cape Fair today we couldn’t get bit except on plastic. We caught fish everywhere we stopped. We used shaky and Ned. We caught fish on every color that we threw except Meat Dog. We caught 49 greenies and spots with 7 nice keepers. We fished from 8:30-2:30. Only 1 other rig was in the lot when we arrived and only 2 others when we left.

Have you tried it Texskin rigged using something like Jades EWG Jigs? I am only losing about 1/10 of what I used to + not gut hooking them.

What does it look like around the Marina, up in the river, below Buzzard? Anyone know? I’ll be down there in the morning with my neighbor. I’m wondering if I should plan for the river or bigger water. The last time I was there I clogged up my speedometer pickup and still don’t have all the wood out.

I need room in my Ned/Shaky box. I took out some of the jig heads that I haven’t used lately. There is an assortment of sizes and types, Ned, banana, ball, football, wobble head, etc. I will sell the lot for $15 shipping included.

I fished the dam area today. I tried spinnerbait, jig, ned and shaky. It was slow. I had 10 bites and caught 9 bass. 4 of them were nice keepers. All on shaky. The water clarity was good. I could see the bottom in 10’. The surface temperature was from 55° to 59°. There was no pattern. Some were near points and some were in coves. They were 4 to 15’ deep.

University of Missouri Extension Center in your county of residence is where I have always gone.

I could only find a few places that didn’t already have 1-3 boats on them. I was up to third in line where I wanted to fish after I got away from the snaggers.

What are you using? What are you having to pay for them? I have a bunch of supplies and will never go through all of them.
