  1. They have them out at Lew’s. That is where I had to go.
  2. I saw water temps from 47° to 54° above Cape Fair today. I think I will wet one Thursday.
  3. Little Sac is fine. Main lake moss. Price’s branch no moss.
  4. Same for drop shot. Long before the term came about we were using a jig below a worm instead of a lifeless sinker.

It wasn’t the cows lying down that caused the fish to not bite, they do that when they have a full belly. A well fed herd of cattle will lie down by 09:00. They have 4 stomachs. They regurgitate their food and chew their cud while in that position.
  6. If you want to get really confusing, add cover into the mix.
  7. Pm sent Scott.
  8. The big problem with ethanol according to the guys who do my tech work is what it did to older gas lines. That being said I only run 91 non ethanol in my Verado. 3 1/2 years and hasn’t missed a beat. Btw: Bull is already high. River Run not useable. When are you heading down? Let’s see a pic of that new rig.
  9. Kyle and I launched at Campbell Point yesterday morning. We were the only rig there. I was surprised. We headed up river and got another surprise. There was a boat on almost every point. Kyle counted 22 rigs at the Shell Knob bridge. The boats didn’t thin out until we were above Kings River. Lots of guys were chucking Arigs. At Big M there were several rigs also. We worked Arigs, jerk baits, jigs, Ned, and shaky. We spent 3 hours in that area with only 1 short spot on Ned. We decided to head down. We spent the next 3 hours fishing cedars in Big Creek. We only found 3 spots two of them being keeps. I am sure some people caught fish, however, we never saw anyone with a fish on and we were around boats all day long. My birds showed water temperatures from 45° to 47°.
  10. Ok just wondering. I have a farm in Stone County. Spring Creek runs along the east side of it and also has trout.
  11. Nice fish. Which Spring Creek were you on?
  12. Probably, but Tom and his crew sure do good work.
  13. You might get it done at Championship Marine in Spokane.
  14. Price drop. $9000
  15. That is a tough outing. Stockton has a habit of being that way this time of year for me so I usually go south until March.
  16. Once again you way out did me. I may have to give that end of the lake a try. How is the water up there? There were lots of floaters above Cape and lots of boats.
  17. Wow. That makes me glad that I went south. We had 2 hours of no bites fishing down from Cape Fair. I pulled up and headed for James River. We used A rigs, Ned, grubs, spoons, under spins, swim baits and shaky. We had 8 bass all on green pumpkin shaky.
  18. I have been buying from them for years. They have a good price break at 100 tabs.
  19. I’ve only fished it below Asher’s in the winter but have caught some good ones on shaky along steep banks and cuts. Some on the Arig also.
  20. You can get some real good advice in the Humminbird forum at bbc.net.
  21. Since it has been so long since our last Super Bowl victory, I thought I’d make some baits to honor the Chiefs.
  22. Nice trip. I plan to wet Ned when I get home. We call those nasty birds YARD CARP.
  23. Above the McCracken Bridge is the only place I have caught very many.
  24. Out my back door yesterday was rolling waves and a white sandy beach. I was in Panama City Beach, FL heading for the Keys.
  25. I call in advance and tell them that I am doing a control burn.
