    While I was going through my bait closet I ran across some assorted items. I found several small spinnerbaits. They have been stored in a binder and the skirts were sketchy so I removed them. Some appear to be 1/8 oz and others may be 1/4. I will never use them. I’m not looking to sell them. I want them to go to someone who will use them. I would appreciate reimbursement of shipping.

    Lots of people are “full timers”. They don’t own a house and have the rigs titled and licensed in states with few to no taxes. South Dakota used to be the state of choice.

    That’s basically what Jeff and I have been finding in the Cape Fair area; a few spinner bait fish, a few shaky fish and a few jig fish with few keepers.

    These were products of the 3J bait company in Battlefield, MO They are named after rodents. Any of you remember these and what they were called?

    There are some good coves in the dam area. Up Lindley has been good in the fall. Pom is small enough to work it all. I have caught them all over the place. From the dam to Pittsburgh landing is only about 9 miles and Bolivar landing is only about 12.

    I don’t have any brass beads but I will never use these.

    And I thought I had it tough pouring jigs in a 94° garage.

    I’ve been to Indian Creek a few times with Quillback. I think that is one of the prettiest places on any of the regional lakes and I really like the clear water. However the courtesy dock and the steep ramp are a little sketchy.

    12-15 seconds with gloves on in the winter using the Pitzen knot.

    I guess they may have received workman’s compensation and are rehabbing because none have been around for days.

    I’m not familiar with them but have had Tom at Championship Marine carpet two boats for me.

    If you own a Minn Kota trolling motor and have lithiums the company says not to run it on high due to higher voltage from lithiums which can cause damage. That doesn’t seem to be the case with the new brushless models.

    It doesn’t matter, I am not going to get a plastic owl.

    I don’t remember anyone talking about trolling jigs. They are usually pulling Flicker Shad or Bandits.

    They only work if you regularly move them.

    I put the last few on injured reserve. They may be filing insurance claims because I haven’t seen any in the last couple of days.

    I had Lowrance HDS units and ran them off my series 31 cranking battery. Within a year they killed it grave yard dead. I got a warranty replacement and within a year the same thing happened. After I traded boats I switched to Humminbird and they killed my cranker. I went to the Batteries + X2 for a cranking battery. It is a lot more powerful than a regular series 31. If you belong to Sam’s club they usually have good deals on quality agms.
