I saw a homeless man near Walmart today & I asked him if I gave you $20 would you buy booze? He said no he hadn't had a beer in years. Then I said if I give you $20 will you buy fishing gear? He again said no, he stopped fishing 5 years ago. So then I said I'll do you better than $20. I'll take you home and get you all cleaned up. My wife will cook a fantastic meal for you. Then I'll bring you back & still give you $20. He asked me won't your wife get mad? I said it didn't matter. I just want her to see what happens to a man when he stops drinking & fishing!

Current River State park allows hunting for small game in season for anyone and deer and turkey by draw. CRSP was sold to DNR by the MDC and that was a deed restriction on the property.

I worked in auto assembly and the vehicles are designed to be put together as cheaply as possible.

They just gotta keep em alive for a while till someone takes them home. The real problem is the estrogen in the stream. One of the stresses identified for hellbenders is estrogen in the water.

I am not joking. They do not use Purina trout chow. I know the hatchery manager and he told they went plant based several years ago. They get the feed in by the truck load now.

The trout at Montauk are raised on a plant based diet now, no fish parts in the chow, mostly soy meal.

They check coolers /freezers of folks leaving from their stay. A lot of folks keep a limit every day when they are there and they stay for a week or more.

They do several road blocks a year stopping folks leaving the camp ground at Montauk. They write a lot of tickets each time for possession limit violations.
