You can shop online and never have to leave your chair, Jann's Netcraft is a good place to start. Lure parts online is good too, ... and for any or all your fly tying needs, Hairline Dubbin, out of Washington or Oregon I think. -

Things were hopping at the Fields home tonight. Ribeyes and mashed potatoes cooked via sous vide method. Asparagus and some pretty ādangā (thanks Ness) good vino. God has blessed us. Life is good!

Thereās so much to talk about here. First, when youāve got spots that are that good, the fish will be stacked up and itās so difficult to put your bait in front of a 20 incherās mouth before those 16-18ā fish get there. Thereās the competition thing going on in full force. As far as casting to the āheart of the the spotā first, I tend to agree with your fly fishing buddy. If indeed the big one is in there, thereās a better chance he will get it before you hook a 16ā fish and alert the whole school. Then they will all know Uncle Al is back in town for his annual float.

I went to duck hunt on an older gentlemanās lake when I was in my thirties. I knew him and his wife really well. He wasnāt home at the time and I ask her where he was. She said heās always in town for breakfast at the same time. I told her in a joking way to make sure he didnāt have a girlfriend. She laughed out loud and said āTell her good luck!ā
