  1. Great thread guys, enjoyed reading it very much! Nice work on the Cedar Strip Dave!
  2. Minimum requirements: Must know DOS, be able to change a flat tire. No Prohibition hair cuts combined with LumberJack beards. Must indentify as EITHER a male of female. Must identify as the race in which they came into this world. 😂
  3. Hopefully you released this fish! 😂
  4. Wonder when the patent is up for Elaztech?
  5. There’s an old one about having a banana in the boat will scare away the fish
  6. Robo worms are some of the best drop shot worms ever made… They are colors combined with their ability to have a huge amount of salt in the bait makes them at the top of the pack. They’re probably living a little bit off of their reputation on the Ned type baits
  7. I'm not a big fan of white bass
  8. Bluegill have more flavor I agree
  9. Not sure where you live, but Hog Wally’s father in law has done this his whole career. If he can’t do it he could probably recommend someone who could.
  10. So sorry to hear that John
  11. I don’t remember any good ole days when you were involved Chief

Yes, when bass and walleye stop going after 4” baitfish we are all in trouble! 😜

    What's Cooking?

Things were hopping at the Fields home tonight. Ribeyes and mashed potatoes cooked via sous vide method. Asparagus and some pretty “dang” (thanks Ness) good vino. God has blessed us. Life is good!
  17. There’s so much to talk about here. First, when you’ve got spots that are that good, the fish will be stacked up and it’s so difficult to put your bait in front of a 20 incher’s mouth before those 16-18” fish get there. There’s the competition thing going on in full force. As far as casting to the “heart of the the spot” first, I tend to agree with your fly fishing buddy. If indeed the big one is in there, there’s a better chance he will get it before you hook a 16” fish and alert the whole school. Then they will all know Uncle Al is back in town for his annual float.

  20. One of the funniest scenes ever....
  21. Now I get it, you’ve been on a diet and are cranky and have to occupy your time so you won’t be thinking about snacks!
  22. So sorry JD, I’ll say a prayer for you. Feeling bad is no fun at all, especially when you were hoping for a break. Hang in there.
  23. I went to duck hunt on an older gentleman’s lake when I was in my thirties. I knew him and his wife really well. He wasn’t home at the time and I ask her where he was. She said he’s always in town for breakfast at the same time. I told her in a joking way to make sure he didn’t have a girlfriend. She laughed out loud and said “Tell her good luck!”
  24. Great info Pepe! I went to Guerrero in the late 90’s. Got pick pocketed at Houston hobby on the way down and lost my wallet with $400 cash. I saw the guy act strange as I was entering the restroom and he acted like he ran into me on the way through the door. Anyway the trip was prepaid and I ended up going down and coming back through the border with no problems. I ended up winning a tourney between the guys and won my $400 back. The highlight of the trip was in the first 5 minutes of fishing. My buddy caught an 11 pounder on his third or forth cast on a C/rigged 8” Zoom green pumpkin lizard with a chartreuse tail.
