  1. I resemble that remark!?
  2. The first pic is a Rapala, then a bunch of Normans, Bombers, and Bagleys. Also a rebel and Rattle Traps I believe
  3. I could sit comfortably and watch Hog Wally with his River Pro take me up to the dam at 30-50 MPH and never skip a beat! 6 inches of water is overkill ?

    BSSP 2017

My buddy owns Westover Farms, he says the otters in the hatchery are so bad you could have a full time job getting rid of them if you were so inclined.
  7. Not sure if they will video, but if you show up late we usually have a Small talk session after it's over
  8. Nice Seth
  9. Wait a couple of weeks
  10. Agree with Phil, at least 8 lb test. Lucky craft and Megabass110 work well. Also one of my favorites for shallow riffles in a youzuri Pins Minnow, the medium and large size. Youzuri also makes an absolute killer when the shad kill is on. It's called a 3D fingerling, it's shaped more like a shad. Get it in white or chrome side with a prism color. Work them crazy fast and then let it rest about 2 seconds.

    What's Cooking?

LOL! No family rentals!? My wife's in a Chinese mother's club in STL, they all get together once in a while and do a massive order of Shrimp type dumplings from Chicago, the Company from Chicago drives down with a refrigerated truck once a month and delivers to a parking lot in Chesterfield. It looks like a drug deal!?

    What's Cooking?

Dumpling (pot sticker) night! The whole family gets involved. Everyone's happy!
  13. Have a good ice fishing story, can't verify its accuracy but my buddy said it happened... My buddy had a Labrador retriever that went with him ice fishing in his ice shack. The dog had a funny habit of snapping at the perch he would catch and reaching down to grab the fish as it was splashing down in the hole ready to be lifted out. One time the dog was ready to pounce on the perch and the perch became unhooked and fell back in the hole. The over enthusiastic dog jumped in after him and somehow fell through the hole. My buddy panicked and was thinking his dog was gone forever. Then about 30 seconds later he heard a scream. Apparently the dogs head resurfaced into an old mans ice shack nearby. ??? I bet the old man had to clean out his shorts!
  14. Not to argue, but size to break strength ratio is not the only factor to consider. The smaller diameters have less abrasion resistance, even if they have a greater tensile strength.
  15. No worries... at one time you could delete your own posts, but some dude got kicked off the forum and decided to delete every post he made, which also deleted some major content. After that, Phil put the kabosh on being able to delete your own posts. All you can do now is edit your comment. Even if your comment is edited to nothing it still shows up as a blank comment
  16. I lost the biggest Smallmouth of my life using Seaguar Carbon Pro about 4 years ago. It broke at the knot. I vowed at that moment to never use 100% fluoro again. My buddy suggested I try Yozuri Hybrid...I've never looked back, it really seems to be the best of both worlds. It's got a different extrusion process than most copoly's. It's definately not perfect...a little too much stretch in the smaller diameters, and a little too much memory in the bigger diameters, but it's as strong as steel with excellent knot strength and reasonably priced. I'm also able to use it on top water with not much problem.
  17. Emersome Big Feesh!!!!
  18. Yozuri Hybrid
  19. Nice fish! All of them! Interesting all LM on jerk baits were caught on the back hook.
  20. I'm up at five every morning
  21. Very nice!
  22. Well, all of those baits and tackle were good stuff!
