Yea, but my gym has a steam room and a sauna, 3 swimming pools, a restaurant, a spa to cut your hair, a rock climbing wall, 2 basketball courts, a kids center, etc. You can go their to shower and use their hot water and soap. ?

If I'm not mistaken, KLOU 103.3 starts playing Christmas music only, starting the day after Thanksgiving.......that's a little much IMO
  8. Norm, the spook bite in this water temp can only be accomplished exactly how you did it, good job. I get the feeling you are the only guy on the river?.........is that true?

I'll choose Bing Crosby. The worst was Dean Martin singing "Rudy, that red beaked reindeer"
  10. I know those micro jigs catch tons of fish, but I can't help thinking a jerk bait would up the 12.6" average. Am I wrong?
  11. Ha ha, well maybe the first preacher needed to be re-baptized.
  12. Very good! I guess a striving young artist is much better than a starving artist!
  13. I don't see the pic?
  14. That's a good point point Harry, one hundred yards is much further than you think, especially with clothing.
  15. I know Al has made them for decades, and knows the best way to rig them so the arms aren't constantly getting hung up in the line.
  16. Yep, I love Norm's reports too!
  17. Very nice!
  18. Glad you're back home! Prognosis looks good!
  19. Maybe someone in the know can tell me if there has been an increase in the quality of Nitro boats in the last 5 years?
  20. If you're 1/64th Cherokee with Red Hair and refer to yourself as "Chief Grey Bear", you might be an OAF member!?

Glad you didn't get a mouthful before you figured it out!
  23. Wow, that's a pig! Wasn't that Boy Scout camp lake was it?
  24. I have a good retrieving a cripple story. We were hunting Truman up the grand arm one season about 20 years ago. My brother crippled a drake mallard and got out of the boat blind to go find it. He couldn't find it, but on his way back, we saw him squat down. When we looked up in the sky, there were probably 200 mallards funneling in to us, we couldn't see them because they came in from behind. My brother was watching this unfold from about 75 yards away. He said one drake was very smart and stayed back.....about 40 yards away from the others. But what the drake didn't know was that my brother was right next to him. My brother shot him and got his first banded duck. The duck was 10 years old according to the records, and was banded in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan Canada. He still wears the band on his call lanyard to this day.
