snagged in outlet 3 Posted May 28, 2019 Posted May 28, 2019 This place in STL says they have it. St. Louis Race Gear 6807 Hazelwood Ave., St. Louis, MO; 314-227-2064; ethanol-free GULF 93 110 116; GPS entered by Joshua
fishinwrench Posted May 28, 2019 Posted May 28, 2019 Get yourself one of these and test this so called "alcohol free" fuel. Guys come in here all the time talking about how they ONLY buy non-ethanol fuel.......it all tests 10-15% WHICH IS FINE !!!!! (as long as it is less than 3 months old) There is so much propaganda about this that it is annoying as hell. It's all BS. (a scapegoat for engine manufacturers that don't build quality engines)

Even stuff that sits forever starts up just fine. I never drain gas out of the mower in the winter. -Austin

(a scapegoat for engine manufacturers that don't build quality engines) Just ordered one $3.84. I know there's a lot of hype out there, but I'll always carry too much 2 cycle mix into the winter and it makes me feel better not having alcohol in the fuel. I've had very few problems with my 2 cycle tools since switching non ethanol 91 octane, but maybe it's a mind trick....maybe it's just labled no ethanol and I've been using alcohol all the time. I meant my tools, no doubt about me. We'll soon find out.
Quillback Posted May 28, 2019 Posted May 28, 2019 I get my 87 ethanol free gas at a place in Garfield AR. Being a suspicious type, I have tested it a couple of times and it has been ethanol free. As long as I can get it, I'll run it in my boat. Daryk Campbell Sr and snagged in outlet 3 2
Members unreal45 Posted May 29, 2019 Members Posted May 29, 2019 I get fuel for my small engines at Ed's Neighborhood Market in St. James. It's a good excuse to take a trip to Meramec Spring Park. Their premium fuel contains no ethanol. Daryk Campbell Sr 1
tjm Posted May 29, 2019 Posted May 29, 2019 https://www.pure-gas.org/index.jsp?stateprov=MO I've tested gas from several stations that were ethanol free. Never had one show otherwise, and it makes a difference in old carbureted trucks and tractors, imo. My two cycle stuff is new enough that they were designed for E10.

The fact that a person can buy Ethanol-free 87 Octane in AR but not in MO is raising suspicions of some kind of the usual Political "deal-making" that fattens some MO State Politician's wallet. snagged in outlet 3 1

It's total BS man. It's amazing, and disturbing, and downright scary.....what can be (and is being) done with people's brains.
