I like a feathered hook on a bronze back rebel floater for smallmouth. I use two hackle tips and some crystal flash to make a tail on them.

I like feather on popping style topwaters but not on walk the dog baits.

If it comes with it from the factory I throw it when they are gone I keep throwing it, haven't seen a noticeable difference when it comes to top-water as they are typically very aggressive active fish and will hit anything making motion on the surface.

I do put them on crank baits though and have put rabbit fur on a few Flickers and Rapala's with a stinger hook through the skin and it does make a difference with those.

I've always believe that a father figure is very important to the healthy and functional growth of a child. Mothers are important too, but fathers, yes, definitely.

Absolutely! A kid without a feather has nobody to steal liquor from or go fishing with, and they grow up being afraid to fart.

We have enough sober, non-farting, X box players in society.

Is that why they seem to swell up? I thought it was from not getting any exercise.

I don't think he was talking about step feathers. I think he was talking about the poor souls that have two feathers bound by marriage and no muther.
