What I should really have on the back window of MY truck is some HotPoint and Frigidaire bling, cuz that tells where my passion is lately.

I'll buy you a big one that says I love Ronnie's Smoked Meat. :)

Champ. I totally agree with u on the wanna be's. When I qualified for the final day of the All American. They told me I was gonna wear the national guard jersey. They asked me my sponsors that I wanted patches for. I said my wife and my parents I guess. I didn't have any lol. They slapped lowrance and some others on there. I still have the jersey and haven't wore it since but am very proud of it.

You guys make me laugh, you're the same ones that think all young kids wearing their hat backwards or sideways are gang thugs.

As for all the college shirts bing Alma maters...lots of Duke grads out there huh? I guess those Cowboy/Cardinals shirts are former pros too

Geez

Still not getting the point. My opinions come from dealing with these people not just looking at them.

gang thugs no. But a wearing your hat sideways and wearing your homemade fishing jersey to the 10 boat wed. night local bass tournament are kinda the same.....general douchebaggery

Well...as a Drake grad, Duke fan (proudly, for close to 30 years- since back when we were Cinderella, and love to wear the gear 45 miles from Lawrence), I guess I should pass on ordering that "The Ned Rig Guy" jacket.

But I tend to agree with Champ, and like Bo it is one of the reasons I no longer fish any sort of tmt. Too many guys, too many guys who can't drive a boat let alone fish, too many tmts, too much misplaced importance and lack of love for actually just going fishing. If you buy a hoodie, hat, or tee...cool. Like that Ranger/Hitler video, I probably have a dozen Ranger jackets of various sizes and colors. But sublimated jerseys? Well, good for you. I would have popped on another spool of Invizx.

I try to stay aware that I "live in a glass house and have no business throwing stones" but some of the self-important clowns I have seen on this lake really give you tournament guys a bad rep. I'm talking about when some hot shot runs in, comes off plane 10 feet from our boat to jump in front of us on a point, only to explain that he is "in a tournament", as he makes a half dozen casts and then races off.

On the other hand, the guys who really are proffesional seem to be just the opposite. Lily and I were catching fish near point 16 last year when a pro in a wrapped boat and jersey idled up, shut down and politely asked if he could fish about 50 yards from us. He said he had some luck in that spot the previous day but was happy to go elsewhere if it bothered us.

Of course we agreed and though we pulled our lines out of the water and backed off we stayed near enough for him to explain in detail what he was doing and why. The man was competing for a check, with some class, and doing a commercial for a couple sponsors at the same time.
