No one cares about keeping smallmouth within reason. Chief was just being his typical self and stirring the pot

Second sentence I agree with. But you know that first sentence is a lie. And I'm not just talking smallmouth. You can't keep any bass out of Table Rock. Those are money fish. But it's not just bass. People are the same way with trout and a lot of other species. Maybe someday you will be as fortunate as me to have rocks thrown at you for putting a fish in your livewell. Or threatened to have you butt kicked for keeping a fish.

This country needs to go back to everyone minding their own business as long as you aren't doing something illegal.

Man!!!

I miss one evening on this forum.

What was the vid?

I'd love to see it.

Pete

It was how to filet a bass. Pretty harmless I thought, but I don't have the delete button. (If I did, this thread would be about 10 posts shorter :D )

On my second day in a row of grampa duty.  Not sure who is keeping who out of trouble, but since I don't like premade food I brought a small country cured ham with me to make for daughter, SIL, and grandsons supper.  I also am not a fan of most glazes but thought I would give it a try.  1 can frozen orange juice concentrate, enough sprite to make it liquid, and some orange slices on top for the purty factor.  Might be good, might go horribly bad, especially since I have never baked a ham myself and I am planning a nap during the baking since grandson is napping too.  Tried to use him as a second person to get 2 extra boxes of .22 LR shells this morning but apparently I didn't do a very good job of making him look 18 yrs old.

Yeah my intent was to play on the banter that had already started. But some tampons got all egoed up.

The last 24 hours have read like a Monty Python "another interesting development."

Nan and I are home from a difficult week at school. February's are the toughest.

To make this easy, I pulled two tins of minced clams from the pantry. I minced 4 large cloves of garlic. I minced about a quarter cup of parsley. I very fine diced half of a red onion. I added a tablespoon of Penzy's Tuscan Sunset to the parsley. I have a bottle of clam juice and a have cup of dry white wine mixed. I have good olive oil standing by. We are headed to a white wine clam sauce pasta to die for.

I read that as two TONS of clams at first

Well my nap cooked my goose, or.more correctly over cooked my ham.  Show of hands for how many saw that one coming?  Had to soak the slices in the liqua-pig at the bottom of them pan hoping to re hydrate it a little.  Not bad dry but enough to irritate me.  Flavor is good, i mean it is ham with a slight citrus kick, aint bad.
