Plumb forgot the dessert.  Yesterday that fish was swimming happily in lake, and about 30 minutes ago this strawberries were happily ripe ing in the sun.

Typically I use a small take-and-bake ciabatta, but couldn’t find them. This bread was just ok .The inside was great . Olive salad, salami, ham, Swiss and provolone. All melty and olive oil from the salad into the bread.  IMG_4461.jpeg

Tabuli is made. Here in a bit I will make Lebanese style cabbage role stuffing, but it won't go in cabbage rolls. I will add to this later.

I do too. The sharp, briney olives and giardinara against the olive oil, fatty meats and cheese really do it for me. 

Picked up some perfect sized ciabatta at WalMart for round two.

The first place to go upon arriving in NOLA is Central Grocery and inhale a muffuletta.  Yours looks legit 👍

Haven’t been down there since I was 15, and we kids weren’t too worried about the food. More like how to get a fake ID to get into Pat O’Briens. John Y lent me something, can’t remember what, and I got in. Things were pretty loose back then.

Ozark Anglers would be surprised to know what little ness was in New Orleans for at 15🤪

Casa de Campbell 

Starts off like regular hamburger and rice/ Stuffed green peppers. But, I added taco seasoning to the ground beef. Then a jar of salsa instead of tomato sauce. I added diced Jalepnos. We had leftover nachos taco shells. I also had some French Onion dip to do to the top in place of sour cream.   

 

It was just thrown together. Make it your own way. It was good.
