You should be able to find a similar pizza on most corners of big cities 🤣

Tamales from a wonderful authentic Mexican place down the street.  Grandma there from the old country makes them fresh weekly.  They are divine.  Even frozen, steam them for 12 minutes.  Can't decide which I like better, the pork, or the cheese and jalapeño.

Nice! I love a good tamale, but good ones are hard to find around here. None of the ones I've tried from Mexican restaurants around here are anything special.

Have you been to Carniceria y Tortilleria San Antonio in KCK? It has some of, if not the best, Mexican food I've had in the KC area.

No, but with a recommendation like that I will give it a try.

You will not be disappointed. Tamales are fantastic and they make them right there in the store/restaurant. Highly recommend the tacos de lengua as well. The sauces are actually hot, too, unlike more commercialized places.

I'm gonna have to look up what a lengua is before I commit :D

El Camino Real at 7th and Minnesota is really good stuff. Dos de Oros Taqueria at Holmes and Blue Ridge is good too. They have all kinds of tacos and interesting salsas. Not their restaurant up the street, the little taqueria on the corner.
