nomolites Posted July 1, 2022 Posted July 1, 2022 They do have good eats in France, that’s for sure. I enjoyed duck a few ways while in Paris that I’ve never been able to duplicate. Germany was heavy on the pork, which I am allergic to, but they know their way around a kartoffel(potato) pretty well which makes up for it. Enjoy! Mike BilletHead and Johnsfolly 2

Been to Bordeaux and sampled the wines. Today we arrive in Sarlat du Caneda , or as I would call it duck heaven Foie gras , confit, cassoulet, you name it they got it. might think a salad as a main dish is girly food but not when it has foie gras ,dried duck breast, and duck gizzards. Mushrooms too While I was in London, the UK was still in the EU. The open air market at Borough station had items from across the channel like the mushrooms, and incredible ducks. I don't know that I could afford it anymore, but I really wish we could transport the French markets to here. https://theculturetrip.com/europe/france/articles/must-visit-food-markets-in-france/ Johnsfolly 1
