Ryan Miloshewski Posted October 10, 2022 Posted October 10, 2022 Cleaning out the last of the freezer before it get's loaded down again this fall. Made pheasant and dumplings this morning. It was super easy and it is delicious. Probably will freeze some for those cold duck camps this winter. Johnsfolly Posted October 10, 2022 Posted October 10, 2022 @Ryan Miloshewski I agree with Marty that pheasant and dumplings look great. What's in the dumpling?

I do like their food, especially their brisket. But, yes, they're a little grumpy and you feel rushed when all the regulars are behind you and know how to order. Not as bad as Gates though. They holler 'Hi, may I help you?' when you pull into the parking lot. And they have to ask about your order 5 more times as you make your way to the register. It's chaos. I went there with a buddy several years ago and he ordered a 'Combo and a BB'. I asked him what that was, and he said he didn't know. He was so intimidated that he just ordered what the guy in front of him had Johnsfolly, MOPanfisher and rps 3 John

Members feather n fin Posted October 15, 2022 Members Posted October 15, 2022 Cool! One of my hobbies is smoking on the Webber Smokey Mountain and an Oklahoma Joe offset. Smoked up a poor man's brisket a couple weeks ago---Chuck roast. The wife said it was better than my last brisket. Johnsfolly 1 https://woodlandclearing.wordpress.com
