I have trimmed the gristle and excess fat from a rack of lamb and turned it into lamb popsicles (two bone chops). Those are marinating in olive oil, Greek seasoning, and garlic. I will sear them and finish them in the oven. I also have slow cooker cheesy bacon ranch potatoes ready to serve. The salad is romaine, celery, green onion, and tomato with a simple oil and vinegar finish. Not really a picture meal, but every bite will be wonderful.

Last night I needed something quick, and I've been cutting back on the calories lately. I thawed out some frozen, deveined shrimp and removed the shells. Dried them off real good, then tossed them in a tiny little bit of oil with some spices (onion and garlic powder, cayenne pepper, paprika, salt, pepper, thyme). Then put them on a screaming hot cast iron grill for just a bit to get a little char and heat them up. Had them with grilled zucchini and a little orzo.

That sounds awesome.

Mothers day dinner was grilled cowboy ribeye steaks with fresh asparagus, and new potatoes with garlic, oregano, and thyme.

Salad with lettuce from the garden supplemented with stuff from the CSA and some chicken.
