Any of you guys ever do a Low Country Boil?  If so, How would you do it if only cooking for 2 people?

So I went to allrecipes.com, found a recipe and scaled it from 15 to 4 servings. Here's the link.  There's a little circle icon divided into pieces that allows you to scale recipes. Has a 15 next to it.

    For Joe D.,

Eggs are good and we are enjoying them. Note Mr. BilletHead is the one with the gray whiskers. Mrs. BilletHead said her photo is OK. We had to do a booger check and a black whisker check before I could post.

     Ruined a good thing?

How does food enter your body Snagged? :) . He got what he asked for!

BilletHead has food go in one end and out the other.

Boils are easy. Get the Zatarains liquid crab&shrimp boil and use a bit more than is recommended. A big pot with a strainer and a big burner is a must. Did one for 20 on a gravel bar in January years ago. Used shrimp instead of crawfish due to cost.

A little catching up from earlier in the week. Monday and Tuesday evenings: baked walleye with curried cauliflower and rice first, then a chicken enchilada casserole.IMG_1605.JPGIMG_1610.JPG

Both of those look great, rps.

I wish I had more people to cook for. With the kids on their own it's tough to want to go to the trouble and hard to scale stuff down so significantly. Still losing weight, but have gotten tired of the process along the way. Most of the stuff I love doesn't lend itself to losing weight. :D

Made some more of the much-misunderstood Bierock Burgers this week, mainly to use up the other half of the cabbage from last week. Scratched that itch, and then some. I doubt it freezes well? Something tells me I'd be shoveling puke if I gave it to the dawgs.
