Johnsfolly Posted September 27, 2016 Posted September 27, 2016 Its your call on reading about or looking at food. I wouldn't suggest it. It got to the point that I couldn't even listen to food commercials. Clear broth and liquids just did not cut it.
Gavin Posted September 27, 2016 Posted September 27, 2016 Good luck with that. Good meal and a good bottle after required.
ness Posted September 27, 2016 Author Posted September 27, 2016 I work with a guy who always sends me an Outlook 'invite' when he's going to be out of the office on vacation so I can cover for him. A couple weeks ago he sent me an invite for his colonoscopy (I didn't decline, but I didn't show up either.) Johnsfolly, MOPanfisher and Gavin 3 John
MOPanfisher Posted September 27, 2016 Posted September 27, 2016 The only food commercial that ever bothered me during the bad days of chemo were for Burger King's "chicken Fries", of course they were on at that time about every minutes. I swear on the first one I could smell them and that was all it took to grab a trashcan. After that I would instantly change the TV channel when it came on. To this day it makes my stomach a little queasy to see the commercial.

Clear liquids for like 24 hrs prior, bleh, hope you fellers start posting some good looking photos of food starting thursday, I will live vicariously though them for a few hours. Gavin I would eat that sauce on just about anything. My buddy drove me to my last one. I was still pretty woozy when we made it to Golden Corral. He tells me I was eating a drumstick while loading my plate. MOPanfisher and BilletHead 2

rps Posted September 27, 2016 Posted September 27, 2016 So last night's casserole was pretty good and made great school lunches. The wife texted as she got on the plane in Boston that she had friends with her. That means tomorrow we will have lobster. I would record a video of my victory dance, but I am not sure any of you would recover from the scars. Tonight, to end my unsuccessful cook for one period, I will indulge myself with a fried ham, fried egg, and cheese on a bun sandwich. The agony will be deciding whether to use mayo, mustard, spicy ketchup, or make a quick Hollandaise.
MOPanfisher Posted September 27, 2016 Posted September 27, 2016 Mustard! Preferably dijon. rps and Terrierman 2
